Multiple H1's
-
Hi,
My SEOMOZ report states that I'm using two H1's on most of my pages, for example on this page:
http://www.absolutepower.nl/eiwitshakes/proteine-shakes/
I only see one though.
Anyone who could clarify this?
Thanks!
Jasper

ok thanks for your help!

Supposedly it's best practice to only have one h1, but if you look at the SEOMoz blog, they have two h1 tags on all of their posts, and they seem to be ranking pretty well off the back of it!!

You do have two h1s. Your logo is in an H1 as is the page title:
[http://www.absolutepower.nl/](<a class=)" title="Sportvoeding en Voedingssupplementen - Absolute Power" style="height:100px;">Sportvoeding en Voedingssupplementen - Absolute Power
and
class="line">Proteine Shakes
I wouldn't say it is a huge priority, but if possible I'd remove the h1 from your around your logo if you can and keep it around the page title. From a quick glance at your site and css, it doesn't look like you are depending on that h1 tag for formatting. Again though, I would place that at a much lower priority.

Hiding body copy with a 'read more' button
Hi Whats the consequences of hiding half of the lovingly crafted body copy/written content (good quality modern version of what we used to call seo text) i have written for a clients main site sections and then having a 'read more' button to reveal ? I have written 500+ words for each page but client wants to reduce word count displayed since thinks looks too 'wordy'! I know that this is possible and used to be fine if done in a manner that was still crawlable, is this still the case ? Cheers Dan

What's better for SEO a page per review or a page with all reviews?
Was wondering what's better for SEO. We have a platform where consumers can read and write reviews. But the question is: is it better to give one page per company with all the reviews on it? Or should we have different pages for the specific company? Example: Itunes has a company page with all reviews on the page, but not the whole review. You have to click further to view the whole review (new page), at the moment this the current situation. What if we place the whole reviews on the company page, so you don't have specific pages for the reviews? Hopefully can someone help us out. Contact me if it's not clear or you want more extended information. Kind regards

Why Isn't Google Authorship Showing My Picture?
I have several clients and the Google Authorship images used display in the search results for all of them. About a month ago all of the images disappeared, however it still displays "by <name>, indicating that Google Authorship is working -- it just doesn't show the image (see screenshots). The image follows the guidelines, and we've got the rel author tag in place, with a link back to Google. </name> When I use the Google Structured Data Testing Tool it shows that authorship is properly functioning. I'm completely stumped. Does anyone have any ideas why this may not be working? Here's two examples of the sites with Authorship not working properly (screenshots below): criminalattorneylongislandny.com

Will google put logo's in as author snippets?
Are they smart enough to tell it is not a mug shot and then not show it? Has anyone ever seen a logo as a snippet? What are some of the factors to with whether they show them or not?

Hi SeoZ 🙂 Quick question, is it a problem if the H2 Element comes after the H1 Element? Also does Google recoginise it if i make the h2 font bigger than the h1? For example: HTML: Awesome Headline bla bla bla Keyword1 Keyword 2 Css:

Multiple local addresses for one domain
Hi Mozzers! If I have a website that has a separate office in each state that they wish to rank locally for eg: "service CityA" "service CityB" etc Would it be best to have a separate subdomain for each major city (unique content on each) with the office address specific to that city? Then there would be a separate Google places listing the subdomain as the website. Or should we just use subfolders? Would Google Places accept the subfolder as the web address? thanks!

New site not ranking for it's name
Performed on-page SEO for this new site that went live a couple of weeks ago - no link building or anything of that nature yet. http://maven-management.com I'm starting to see the site rank on Bing for some keyword phrases but it doesn't rank for the business name "Maven Management" on any major search engine. SEOMoz gives my on page optimization an A for the business name for the home page. Am I just being impatient? I didn't really put much effort into ranking for the business name because that generally seems to happen without any issue. There are other companies online with the same name. Any insight is appreciated.

Post Title - Use the blog's name or not?
In the tile of my post, shoudl I used my blog's name in it at the end or emit the blog name. EX: title of post with keywords | name of blog OR EX: title of post with keywords The site's name is 3 words long, so I'm worrying that those extra words are diluting the keywords in the post's name that I'm trying to target.
