Hit With Panda, How Should I block pages?

Hello!
I believe Ive been hit with Panda, I have a large Ecommerce site with literally thousands of pages, but working on adding custom content daily. Should I block pages that have duplicated copy, that dynamically insert a product/artist/team name? Will this help with my huge ranking drop? If so after this has been done should I send a request reconsideration to google? Or will it just happen automatically? I believe this is a algo penalty and not manual, as I have not received any messages in my Webmaster.

Yes still indexed, Ive never really ranked very well but I had alot of Long tail searches that came up, but most of it was on the DUP content pages. With thousands of pages how can I Noindex duplicate content?

Are you still indexed? No need to submit a reconsideration if you are.
Noindex you duplicate content.
Develop a new links to your new quality content. Guest blog, do some non-profit work in the community, ect.
If you're still indexed, you should regain some rankings quickly. However after a slap you're going to have to show Google you've changed your ways over the course of a couple of months to get back to where you were.

Im almost positive that its Panda, its a LARGE ecommerce site with thousands of pages, traffic fell off in 1-2 days to almost nothing now. I have a fwe hundred pages with custom content everything is is pretty much the same with artists names dynamically inserted. Everything is whitehat thats the only thing I see which could be causing the problem. Im not sure exactly what to do know? Do I have to contact google on this? Or just fix it and wait?

Hi,
If you are positive that Panda update is the reasoning for your loss of ranking then you can use a canonical tag to let the search engine know which page to credit. However, your drop in rankings can be from multiple scenarios.

Hello guys, I have a service-based website. Right now, I have around 30 commercial pages for different services, that we offer. I came up with idea to add service page for each keyword we're ranking in. For example, we offer home-construction service and we have 1 commercial page for this service. Privacy Policy Pages
When creating a privacy policy page- much of what needs to be added is legal information. This means privacy policy pages may be very similar to others' privacy pages in my niche. Are they all pretty much generic? We have a few different companies and I'm thinking we can have one created and then modify them per company? Is this correct? Mary

Adding too many new pages at once - will it be seen as spammy
I have a database of around 10,000 business I want to list on my directory. My problem has been that my people have been adding to the database for over a year, but due to my hosting limitations adding them, caused my site to crash. I have now got this sorted, would going from 1,000 urls listed to over 11,000 may Google think I am trying to spam them. Would it be worth while dripping them in over time, or just adding them all at once. Any advice appreciated, Thanks

Is it Possible for an Internal Page to Rank for Various Terms Based ONLY on Blogging Anchor Text?
Hi everyone, Our company provides about 6 different services, each with a specific page on our website: 1. Accept ACH Payments (/accept_ach_payments.html) 2. Client Management & Billing Software (/customer_management.html) 3. Small Business Merchant Accounts (/small_business_merchant_account.html) etc etc Now, here's the question. One of our blogging strategies is to write content about how our online platform can help various types of businesses manage and grow their business. "5 Ways Fitness Business Can...." "How Law Firms Can Benefit...." etc In these blog posts, we don't specify our product, but we do link back into one of those main service pages, so I might link fitness management software to the Client Management & Billing Software (/customer_management.html) page as well as legal billing software to the same client management page Since there are so many different companies that could use our software, we don't want to include them on the Cl_i_ent Management & Billing Software page. That page is just about the benefits of the system and how it works as a great CRM. So....to make a long question short, are we able to rank the Client Management page for "fitness management software" and "legal billing software" if we don't use those terms on the "client management" page itself, and only use it as the anchor text when linking? Instead of making a separate page about how we can be used as a fitness management platform, we'd like our "client management" page to rank for various terms like "fitness management software" "legal billing software" "online church donation software" etc BUT, we don't want to bloat the client management page will all those other topics and content. Is it advisable to have unique pages for different cities/states though there wouldnt be any actual differentiation in the content. For example should we have separate pages for "hammers in california" & "hammers in new york". The product is same and content more or less the same. The search volume for individual queries is low but collectively makes a large number. The unique title tag automatically will generate traffic. So does it make sense to make 50 such pages. Else is there any way to uniquely target 50 such queries/month/city

My Blog pages are out ranking my main website
My blog was on wordpress.com for over 18mnths and I have just moved it to my domain - rankings are charging as a result - up and down! My current concern is my google.co.uk search position for garden art - my home page http://www.gardenbeet.com has been number 2 for over 12 mnths - now my blog is number 2 http://www.gardenbeet.com/garden_design_blog/garden-art/ this is not the best landing page to generate sales from my shop - any suggestions?
