Why my competitor have a Page Authority lower then mine, but still in the best position?
-
Hello Guys, my situation is:
I have more Page Autority
More Backlinks
More Root Autority
But my competitor still in a better position then mine!
How it´s possible?

Tks, is it just for 1 keyword or a lot of keywords / URLs combinations that you are noticing the off-page strengths being strong but still not ranking. To me it's an opportunity to do the architecture SEO Audit and see what you can do to help the entire website, structural changes. If it's just 1-2 pages, then copy optimization, meta optimization on that page along.
I hope this helps.

Hi Marcio -
Please see the comments that I and other SEOMozers made in this question from yesterday:
To sum, Authority is a great indicator of SEO and inherent domain properties (age etc), but does not dictate how Google ranks a site. Consider if your site tanked due to a Google Update - your DA or PA would not change.
In almost every case, the competitor has one or all of the following:
More unique, informative pages indexed surrounding the keyword you are being out-positioned for;
More relevant backlinks - if you have better links with more authority, and more links, you can still be out-positioned if your competitor has relevant authority links.
On page advantage - your site is not optimized with on page elements as well as your competitor.
Either of these scenarios can be the cause.

Any number of reasons, from as diverse as you have your entire site blocked in robots.txt, to you are targeting one particular country in Google Webmaster Tools and your competitor is not targeting a specific country, to they have 400 pages and you have 10 pages, etc.
There's more than just a couple of numbers that determine rankings. Your backlinks may be low quality, and your competitor may have backlinks from the White House. There are all kinds of reasons, and we're just making guesses without knowing the URL of you or your competitor.

There page is probably more targeted to the keyword

Why does moz give different page authority to the same page if a visit comes from adwords vs organic search?
When clicking on an adwords ad the page the landing page has a page authority of 26. When clicking on organic search to the same exact landing page the page authority is 37. Why is this. Does moz or, more importantly Google see these as the same or separate pages? Thanks Tom

Why am I ranking high for a keyword that is nowhere on my page?
There is a specific keyword phrase that I am ranking in the top 10 search results for. When I run page optimizer in Moz, my page is given a score of 73 and I'm predictably told I need to include this keyword somewhere on the page. This specific keyword phrase is not included anywhere on the page - not in image files, image alts, anchor text from inbound links (that I can find), text content, meta-titles or descriptions - it's nowhere. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase which Moz' page optimizer tells us we are scored 96 for we aren't even in the first three pages of search results for. What's going on here? On the surface, this seems to be telling me the Moz page optimizer is kinda...broken? Why am I ranking in the top 10 for a keyword phrase nowhere on my page? Thanks in advance for any help.

Page Rank vs Page and Domain Authority - who wins?
A client has found another SEO agency promising various things to do with link building. Most of these promises are based upon links from sites with allegedly high page ranks. So my questions: Page rank seems to be fading out am I safe to stay with PA and DA metrics instead? I don't agree with link building tactics and feel that it should more a networking activity to provide USEFUL links to users... am I being too white hat and missing opporunities? The other company have promised long list of links including 100 SEO friendly web directory listings, 200 PR 8 back links from Pinterest (which i thought was no follow) & 10 long lasting and high quality mini web sites (with three pages/posts, video and pictures). Am I right that this all sounds a little spammy or is this really what I should be doing for me clients?

Is there a way to get the domain authority of a subdomain?
For example, www.storage-mart.com and us.storage-mart.com both show the same DA in OSE. I believe it's the DA of the root domain. How can I compare the DA of the 'www' and 'us' subdomains?
