E-Commerce SEO: What are the Schema.org properties you use?
-
Quick question about Schema.org for products. What are the properties you like to list on product-pages for an E-Commerce? Thanks.

Carlos,
You used the Video Object in e-commerce? I've heard that the videos rarely show up for e-commerce related terms. Could you give any examples of where you are showing up?
Thanks

In my experience and from what I have read, aggregateRating and
offers are the ones with the potential to improve your conversion rate and CTR as soon as the rich snippets are live and showing.
With aggregateRating you can get the rating stars on the search results.
There are many case studies where implementing the ratings rich snippets with Schema.org has increased CTR by up to 30%If you are thinking of using schema code on your site, that's the property I'd start with.
Not sure if that answers your question.

Carlos, thanks for your super fast feedback. I know the elements you mention and my question was rather about what are the properties that are worth listing, both for SEO and conversions. In your experience, what are the attributes that one should see described on a good product-page?

-
http://schema.org/Offer (if you have products on sale)
-
http://schema.org/VideoObject (if you have videos on your product pages)

Lost SEO contract, new SEO wants us to do the following - can you explain why?
1. Make prokem.co.uk the master domain rather than prokem-corrosion-protection.com 2. Ensure each http URL is 301 redirected to its https counterpart via htaccess rather than in plesk 3. 301 redirect each www.prokem-corrosion-protection.com URL to its co.uk counterpart via htaccess. I can provide a list of pages to redirect as there are a number of duplicate pages that will need removing. It probably makes sense to implement these other changes at the same time: Remove all of the canonical tags currently on the site. Leverage browser caching by following Google’s page speed recommendations - https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/LeverageBrowserCaching Losslessly compress all of the website’s images. Use of the word Find in Title Tags
Hey, So i'm looking to make content that is optimized for Finding an injury lawyer in boston. The Phrase "Personal Injury Lawyers in Boston" get's a lot more searches than "Find Personal Injury Lawyers in Boston" but with the Find is it less competitive? The same thing goes for "Find lawyers in Boston" vs. "Lawyers in Boston." My question is, is it better to put the word FInd in front or not? Is there a downside?

WP SEO plugin
When working with WP sites I generally use Michael Torbert's All in One SEO Pack. I've encountered a few examples where when the homepage shows up on a Google search results page the title/title tag shows up as {Business Name:} | {Keyword/Description}. In the 'General Settings' of the plugin in the 'Home Title' field, I have it listed as {Keyword/Description} | {Business Name} I'm not sure why the order is getting switched and where the ':' comes from. I'm not sure if this even has any adverse effect. If anyone has had experience with this, your input would be appreciated. Note - I'm not seeing this issue reflected on Bing.

Using rel="nofollow"
Hello, Quick question really, as far as the SERPs are concerned If I had a site with say 180 links on each page - 80 above suggested limit, would putting 'rel="nofollow"' on 80 of these be as good as only having 100 links per page? Currently I have removed the links, but wereally need these as they point to networked sites that we own and are relevant... But we dont want to look spammy... An example of one of the sites without the links can be seen here whereas a site with the links can be seen here You can see the links we are looking to keep (at the bottom) and why... Thanks
