How can I optimize the Wordpress "read more" link?
-
What is the correct way to work with “read more” links in Wordpress?
I have a Wordpress blog where I use in each post a read more link (posts with long content), in other words, in the home page each post has two links to the full post, this is good for the usability of my blog. I show actually 10 posts on the home page, this results in 10 links of post title and 10 links of read more = 20 links. I have 10 repeated links on the home page. My read more links have customized text, links to the permalink without #more, links dofollow.
In this way that I’m using read more links, Am I diluting the link juice of my blog?
Is it correct to use nofollow in internal links trying to manipulate the link juice of my site?

You can leave the Wordpress read more links as-is - they should be fine.
Google only counts the first link on the page to any given URL, so Google should be counting the anchor text of the first link, which is the link that uses the post title as the anchor text.
Nofollowing links will not help point more link juice to the other links.

Effects of a bad link linking to a image
i am getting a lot of links from wallpapers sites.. One person has created 1000's of similar sites that are linking back to my images. My guess is images do not pass link value positive or negative. But I am not sure what the potential effects would be. Does anyone know who linking to images might effect SEO especially when there coming from horribly low quality auto generated sites.

We are moving to HTTPS and wanted to know if our link building efforts were in vain or will the link juice pass to HTTPS?
We are switching to HTTPS and want to make sure the links we've gotten in the past will still transfer since they are pointing to HTTP? I'd hate to go back through and ask people to please add an s to the link.

Best Course of Action For Over Optimized Link Profile
I'm working on a few sites right now and before I came on board, they purchased spammy link building packages. For instance, one site shows 3.8k links from 600 root domains. As you can guess, these are ALL spammy pages with dozens to hundreds of links on each. They're all targeted keywords to the homepage. Our other site shows 600+, and again, all spammy links from unrelated spam sites and free link directory packages. The site in question had duplicate content taken from other sites and about 7 pages total indexed. It has since been updated to a WordPress theme with original content and many additional pages. It also has proper SCHEMA locations as it is a legitimate, local business. We receive next to no organic traffic, the pages don't rank for the terms (duh), and basically I'm concerned with moving forward. I don't want to spend time building legitimate links to our sites if we're already nuked by Google. What I'm asking is, do any of you have experience _successfully _using the disavow tool to remove past links? I really don't think a solid link building campaign to our newly updated site is going to undo the thousands of spammy and over-optimized links we have in place already. How likely is it that Google gets the point that we are a legitimate site with new, fresh content when the site receives legitimate links from related sites and such?

Penguin Recover: Remove links vs Burry Links
The best is to do both. However with those with limited resources, would building more links with branded and naked URL anchor links be a better solution than painstakingly asking every webmaster to remove links.

What do the "best" backlink profiles look like, in terms of percentages from quality content, bookmarks, social media, directories, etc?
I recognize that there is no such thing as one ideal link profile, per se, but I am curious, if you sampled 100 high authority sites, what would their inbound links look like on average, broken out by source type? Some sites would have a ton of social sharing due to their funny pop-cultural content, while others might be quoted and linked in context for their brilliant insights. A very technical resource might gain a lot of links from forum discussions. If I can complete this exercise on my own, I welcome your advice on how to do that with OSE or the like.
