Wordpress Social Button Plugins Change

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of changing the plugin I used on my blog for people to share my blog posts on Facebook, Twitter and Google +. If I do this, would I lose all shares (meaning that all the buttons would go back to 0, I know the shared content would still appear on people's profiles)?

Thanks Marcus, I actually tested it on a blog that I don't really care much for and it all worked fine.

Nope, shares will remain, they are pulled from the networks themselves and are not relevant to the plugin or buttons.
To test and put your mind at ease either install another plugin and publish to another widget or grab some code for a button and drop it somewhere else on a specific page with likes / tweets etc.

Social in SERPS
Hi Guys, I have seen a lot of page 1 SERP exposure for branded terms due to social links being listed directly underneath the web listing - mainly twitter! I know there was an update to include this in SERPs at the beginning of the year but how do I specify or submit these to Google so my social accounts can too also appear directly under my web page? "Apply with LinkedIn" button
My client is a recruitment company and they've recently added "Apply with LinkedIn" buttons on their site for candidates. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the effects of adding this to SEO? I suspect it will have little impact, but thought I should research anyway. After a lot of searching, I can't find much on this topic with specific reference to this button. I've read LinkedIn are phasing this out too. Can anyone offer any insight into adding this button? How To Remove Fake Social Media Likes
Hi there Mozzers, Unfortunately I used a black hat seo company for my website at http://greatedmontonhomes.ca in the past. Over the last while I've been able to clean up quite a few of the bad links going to the site, but the company also engaged in buying fake Facebook likes and Tweets. Hi all Just wondering, what service do you use to manage multiple social profiles ( in excess of 50). Curious as we have used http://commun.it for twitter accounts, but gets tedious as we need to log in on several different accounts, although great service Also use Hootsuite but reporting is terrible ... Social Icons Link to Inner Pages
We have the social icons (facebook, twitter, youtube etc) in the footer of our homepage linked to inner pages instead of our actual social accounts. So, if you click on the facebook icon you go to one of our inner pages talking about our facebook profile and why to like us on facebook. Then on this inner page you can get to our facebook profile. We do this so we can pass on PR juice from our homepage to our inner page, and not lose it right off our front page. Is this a good idea? Or does it just confuse users? Most people think when they click on a facebook icon they will go to an actual facebook profile. What is the best Practice for Adding Social Buttons to your Sites from SEO Perspective?
Hey Guys, As you all know there are many social buttons out there that can be added to your website. Facebook Like button, Twitter's Tweet and Follow buttons, Google +1, and AddThis buttons are just a few to mention. All of these buttons can be customized, eg. you may choose to point your FB Like button to your homepage, to a specific inner page, or to your Facebook Brand Page. Same with your +1 button. Moreover, you may choose to add Twitter and Google+ Follow buttons to your site's pages, and so on. My questions are very simple: Is there any best practice for adding social buttons to your site from SEO perspective? if yes, Which social buttons to add?
