Facebook getting more aggressive?
-
Hi,
I don't know about you but I have been comparing our Facebook posts in the last three months. Sometimes we use promoted posts and sometime we go with traditional posts.
In the last few weeks, it has come to my attention that Facebook is barely showing regular posts to anyone. If they go like this, I'm afraid regular posts will be almost like private posts for your eyes only.
Examples:
Regular post: 103 views after 3 days
Promoted post ($10] : 10206 views after 3 days

Thanks for the response. I will look into EdgeRank a little bit more. As for the posts, we only post select content (not every single post) that would appeal to our fans on Facebook and yes of course we interact with them.

We agree that Facebook posts are seeing less and less featured time on people's walls, but it's important to note that interaction with your posts does increase Facebook's EdgeRank.
Are you interacting with your viewers and engaging with them? Creating great content and posting it is a quick way to get more views with your posts.

Lead Conversion on Facebook
Hi Mozzers, We are currently running FB ads and I am wondering if I should rely on the facebook lead conversion metric https://cl.ly/412f1j1a021I. I tend to rely heavily on Google Analytics for this kind of data(by adding goals). Of course GA doesn't not show as much conversions as Facebook does. So which platform should I be relying on for conversion metrics? Thanks for letting me know!

Facebook PPC. Using Google URL Builder - Now What?
Hey There! So I've been trying some FB PPC ads. I recently learned I needed to use Google's URL builder to add the appropriate tracking fields into the URL (source, campaign, etc). The FB ad link now uses a custom URL with all the correct parameters. Now what do I do in analytics? Do I create a filter? A goal? Getting a little dizzy going in circles with google analytic help, and I'm hoping someone here can direct me. Thanks! -Dan

Facebook PPC - Number of Clicks According to FB Different Than Visits in Analytics?
Hi There So I was trying out my first FB ads with a client. I see according to FB there were 105 clicks. But according to google analytics there were only 69 visits. I am counting visits from facebook.com and apps.facebook.com Any reason for this discrepancy, or any tips? Am I missing something? Thanks! 687sfgMVaE 1j56Pm7nD
