Keyword Traffic - Does this count paid traffic?
-
I'm looking at keyword rankings, and specifically at the number under "Keyword Traffic" for one of my keywords, which is described as "how many visits this keyword has generated for your website".
We run adword campaigns for some of these keywords. I'm wondering if this number is tracking visits from adwords or is this only organic?

Turns out our GA wasn't set up properly and all the traffic, paid and organic, are under the same view in GA, so they're all going into SEO Moz that way too. Found the source of the problem there

Hi John,
Thanks for the question. The traffic information you're seeing there is organic. You would likely have to go directly to your GA/AdWords account to see your paid keywords metrics.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Joel. -
Depends on what tab you are looking at.
If you're looking at the Queries tab, which is actually the only that shows KW Rankings, that is pure organic. You can see combined paid/organic traffic from your KW under the Search > Overview tab.

How to know competitors keywords for adwords
I want to run google campaign for adwords and I want to target keywords that my competitor is ranking for. How can I know what are the keywords that are helping my competitors the most. Is there some way so that I can know what my competitor is bidding for those keywords. I heard it also depends on the landing page quality. Please suggest the best strategy to run adwords at lower cost and yet perform well. I am willing to run campaign for this website . It is basically meant to connect manufacturers representatives and independent sales reps to businesses. Any suggestions are welcome.

I've 'lost' my Google Referral international traffic
We recently launched a new version of our website on the PrestaShop platform. On our old DNN platform, we would typically see several thousand clicks a month from Google Referral (domestic) and several thousand more collectively from Google Referral international traffic (i.e. UK, Canada, Germany, France). This was the data being reported in Google Analytics. Once the new site went live however, Google Referral traffic, both domestic and international, all dropped to 0. My question is: Did we lose this traffic due to some improper setting on our new platform, or is this Google Referral traffic simply being re-categorized into another category, i.e. Organic Search?

Adwords negative keywords / keyword lists conflicting?
Does any of you had any experience on large 5k+ shared negative keyword lists impacting normal campaign negative keywords in Adwords even if they are not selected on these campaigns? And a second question; does anyone know how selected negative keyword lists can be removed from a campaign? I seem to be able to add them but not to remove them... Cheers!

3 domains, Same keywords targeting - Best way of managing this?
Hi, I manage 3 domains and am just about to start doing some Branded PPC (to start with) to promote these the problem is that that 2 of the domains sell the exactly same products under the same brand names. What is the most efficient way of setting this up. Obviously by setting up separate accounts and using the MCC I can manage the accounts accordingly, but i am going to be increasing my competition for my own brand terms. As far as i am aware google is not happy with you mixing 2 domains in one account? We also sell our products via a wholesale channel so there is competition with other competitors as well. The 3 sites is slightly different so has less overlap and its not until we hit generic terms that there is some form of competition, between site but i am not worried about this. Can you help? Regards Ben

UTMZ not provided keywords
Hi everyone. We have implemented the new google ad tracking code and realized that on paid keywords we get the keyword in our UTMZ tracking cookie. However, if someone just searches a term we are not paying for we get "not provided" in the cookie. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue so we can track our keywords?

SEMRush Ads Traffic Price VS their PDF report
I am running a report on a website trying to find their advertising budget online (or at least what I can find and have access to). When I type in the URL and look at the overview section it has the "Ads Traffic Price" at around $2,000/mo. But when I do a full PDF report it has the price at over $11,000/mo for Google USA. What am I missing? Doing wrong? Which is accurate? I'm pretty sure they spend quite a bit more than $11,000/mo in general as they were recently bought by Google and are owned by people from Apple. How do I get the mots accurate estimation in general? Or at least on SEMRush?

Which landing page is used to calculate "Landing Page Experience" of a keyword in Adwords?
In Google Adwords, one ad group can have multiple landing pages, yet keywords are shared. So when I look at the keywords, they use one of the landing pages from ads, but which one? Shall we create separate ad groups and set only one landing page per group to avoid this problem? If this is the way then how come landing page is not a shared property like the keywords in ad groups? I hope someone with enough Google Adwords experience can help me here. Thanks,

Keyword Domains for PPC
I have a client who wants to buy a lot of long domains with keywords in them, for example, thesandiegopetstore.com (this is fictional) and then set up a PPC landing page for each. They think that when someone types in "san diego pet store" that their domain will be listed high and then they will get a lot of traffic. My concern is that they will own a lot of domains for their company and I thought Google is getting pretty adamant about companies not having a lot of domains, and I thought that keyword domains are not as effective as they used to be -- that branding is more important now. Also, I think the domains they've picked target very competitive keywords and that perhaps they will get a lot unqualified traffic and will still have to pay for the clicks. What do you think? What is the best way to set up PPC landing pages?
