Social Media and Local Search results

Hello,
I have profiles in several social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
When I search with my name on google.com the profiles are showing on the first page, but when I do a local search, the profiles start showing in the end of the second page.
I'm very active in my social media profiles, and I don't know why is this happening.
How long does it take for the profiles to show on the first page in local search?
Can I do anything to speed up the process?

Sorry but these are not local search engines. By the way, your profile looks good here - http://www.google.ch/#hl=de&site=&source=hp&q=Fisnik+Sylka+&oq=Fisnik+Sylka+&gs_l=hp.3..0i13i30.12141.15312.0.15581.3.3.0.0.0.0.267.533.2-2.2.0...0.0...1c.1.N-uBJ2Ks3pg&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=c16ac928af69b5ff&bpcl=38625945&biw=1366&bih=640

How to migrate social likes when moving blog domain?
Hi, Our blog currently is hosted at wordpress.com and we are planning to move it under mysite.com/blog. I've noticed that at the moment in the existing individual articles there are social likes for the reader to likes/follow the page. And we do have some likes from these social buttons e.g. in a particular article I receive 4 twitter likes/5 facebook likes from those social media buttons after the article body. After moving the blog would the articles lose the social likes? How would I manage it not to? I know that there is a wordpress plugin available to purchase: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/redirect/ If I purchase it would it resolve my problem? Please help Thanks!

OK, I'm not being rude, but I have a few clients who work in areas that really don't stimulate people - they are just needed. Examples are: Accountants

Chartered Surveyors
Forklift truck suppliers Not the most inspiring list... So my question is whether to pursue the whole social media side of SEO with them. I mean, who wants to "like" their chartered surveyor? Do they have anything interesting to "tweet" about? If anyone has experience of this type of field, then any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,0 -

Do social media buttons work better "within" a website or "outside" of a website?
Websites like techcrunch.com include the social media buttons (+1, FB like, linkedin etc.) to the left of their articles so they seem to float outside of the content. Some even let the social media buttons wander while scrolling, so that they are always visible (e.g. here: http://www.kirstenwinkler.com/news-from-palabea-and-how-to-prepare-kids-for-tomorrow/). The "traditional" way has been to include the buttons within the content, e.g. on top of the article or on the right hand side. I was wondering which alternative has the largest impact. Intuitively "outside" of the content should be more visible as it "breaks" with the website design. Has anyone done an empirical test which version gets more clicks?

How much is enough when it comes to Social Media?
I have attended a number of social media webinars with tips on getting the most out of Facebook and Twitter. Now, I would like opinions from someone who is not trying to sell me something. We post 2 daily blog articles to our Facebook company page which auto re-posts to Twitter every day. Is that enough, or is it necessary to hire someone to engage people with additional conversation? If your answer is that additional conversation is needed, are there any companies or individuals that you recommend to provide these services at a reasonable cost?
