Twitter based competition

I have a client who wants to run a twitter based competition.
The idea is as follows.
tweet the url of your favorite product from clients website, with #hashtag .
so potentially there could be 100+ tweets referencing three or four unique urls on the clients website.
What I am interested in is there any SEO benefit to be gained from this.

Well "social indicators", as they've been dubbed, are a ranking factor in both Google and Bing, although just one factor out of 200+. Legitimate accounts tweeting links to a site would definitely be a positive signal. It would also hopefully provide you with some legitimate inbound marketing benefits by giving you access to new audiences.

show tweets where some have #Vintage #clothing in the text whilst others just have the term vintage clothing in the tweet. So my question is please... "If your client asks how do i get my tweets picked up by searchers looking for vintage clothing should i ad hash tags or not bother and just mention the term in the tweek" Put another way, why do some tweeters hash tag a key pharse and place term in the snippet. Do links in Paper.li twitter round-ups help my SEO?
My twitter feed is picked up in the daily roundups like Paper.li. Do these links count towards my SEO effort or are they just empty. Clearly they spread my content so that great, just wondered if the links pass juice to the site.

Being Blocked by Social Bookmarking sites based on IP
Creating a few (multiple) social bookmarking accounts at multiple sites and getting blocked based on IP (guessing). Disclaimer: a few, not volume here. What is the best way around this?
