Why is Google only indexing 3 of 8 pages?

Hi everyone, I have a small 8 page website I launched about 6 months ago. For the life of me I can not figure out why google is only indexing 3 of the 8 pages. The pages are not duplicate content in any way. I have good internal linking structure. At this time I dont have many inbound links from others, that will come in time. Am I missing something here? Can someone give me a clue?

Thank you everyone. I suspected the lack of back links to become an issue. But I did think google would index all pages backlinks or not. I just figured the page would not rank high without them. Thank you everyone for your suggestions and I will work on it some more. As soon as I have time.

Thanks Keri. I know of these issues. I work on so many sites and this one is my own. So it gets the lower priority when it comes to time spent.

Unrelated to indexing, look at the file sizes of images on your page. Some of them are unnecessarily huge, which hurts user experience and can affect rankings (the auto-play of the video is also a negative for user experience).
Also, your home page renders with just the .com or the .com/index.html, and that should be fixed.

Your sitemap.xml looks fine, but like Tim said, submit it using Google Webmaster Tools.
Also, add it to your robots.txt file. Add a new line:
User-agent: * Allow: / -

Submit you Sitemap.xml in Google Webmaster tools to get fast and better indexing...
Create some good, relevant, high quality backlinks for your other 5 pages..
You will get in Google index fast..

I don't think that you are doing anything wrong. However, the speed and depth of indexing depends on the strength and number of inbound links.
Hang in there... you will be indexed in time... get a few more links if you can.
Probably has nothing to do with your indexing problem but there is an awful lot of empty table code on your homepage.

I'm pretty certain it will be to do with back links. The more relevant back links you can get then the better you're indexing will be.
I run a similar small website which has 12 pages but only 4 are indexed and the one thing it has in common with yours is the lack of links.
Have you thought of adding some of your wedding videos to youtube and going down the social route to attract links?

Hi Tim,
The only thing I can figure is that using coords links instead of traditional text links is keeping Google from crawling through the entire site.
Instead of:
<area shape="rect" coords="194,132,289,160" href="wedding-video-pricing.html" alt="Wedding Video Prices Arizona">
Try:
I'm not positive if it will help, but it can't hurt with indexation...

Google Indexing Desktop & Mobile Versions
We have a relatively new site and I have noticed recently that Google seems to be indexing both the mobile and the desktop version of our site. There are some queries where the mobile version will show up and sometimes both mobile and desktop show up. This can't be good. I would imagine that what is supposed to happen is that the desktop version is the one that should be indexed (always) and browser detection will load the mobile version where appropriate once the user is on the site. Do you have any advice on what we should do to solve this problem as we are a bit stuck?

Google not indexing /showing my site in search results...
Hi there, I know there are answers all over the web to this type of question (and in Webmaster tools) however, I think I have a specific problem that I can't really find an answer to online. site is: www.lizlinkleter.com Firstly, the site has been live for over 2 weeks... I have done everything from adding analytics, to submitting a sitemap, to adding to webmaster tools, to fetching each individual page as googlebot and then submitting to index via webmaster tools. I've checked my robot files and code elsewhere on the site and the site is not blocking search engines (as far as I can see) There are no security issues in webmaster tools or MOZ. Google says it has indexed 31 pages in the 'Index Status' section, but on the site dashboard it says only 2 URLS are indexed. When I do a site:www.lizlinketer.com search the only results I get are pages that are excluded in the robots file: /xmlrpc.php & /admin-ajax.php. Now, here's where I think the issue stems from - I developed the site myself for my wife and I am new to doing this, so I developed it on the live URL (I now know this was silly) - I did block the content from search engines and have the site passworded, but I think Google must have crawled the site before I did this - the issue with this was that I had pulled in the Wordpress theme's dummy content to make the site easier to build - so lots of nasty dupe content. The site took me a couple of months to construct (working on it on and off) and I eventually pushed it live and submitted to Analytics and webmaster tools (obviously it was all original content at this stage)... But this is where I made another mistake - I submitted an old site map that had quite a few old dummy content URLs in there... I corrected this almost immediately, but it probably did not look good to Google... My guess is that Google is punishing me for having the dummy content on the site when it first went live - fair enough - I was stupid - but how can I get it to index the real site?! My question is, with no tech issues to clear up (I can't resubmit site through webmaster tools) how can I get Google to take notice of the site and have it show up in search results? How can I stop google indexing an image
I have put a map of cornwall on my site on the Corwnall Page, and for some reason Google.de has picked it up and shows it up in the top 4 images for a search for cornwall? The result is I am getting about 80% of the traffic coming to my site for the search Cornwall (I get about 50 unique visits per day, over 40 a day are landing on the Cornwall page. Is this a problem for my normal SEO as a Close up Magician? Will google start to think my site is about Cornwall? Should I noindex the image (I say that like I know how! - How do I noindex that image? ) Or is any traffic to a site good traffic, I imagine they will be clicking on the link landing on the page and then leaving, which I suspect is not good for google reputation. Google Not Indexed WWW name
Here is my domain - http://www.plugnbuy.com . When i see through "site" google not showing with WWW index but the same when i do without WWW.. it is showing in search. So yesturday i changed the setting from GWM to preferred domain as a WWW appear but today still not showing anything... Please help..

I know I can use the site: query to see all the pages I have indexed in Google, but I need a listing of just the URLs. We are doing a site re-platform and I want to make sure every URL in Google has a 301. Is there an easy way to just see the URLs that Google has indexed for a domain?

Why Google did not index our domain?

did not find any problems from domain archive pages. 3. Page similar: the homepage is 50% similar to one of our competitors when we just launched.
So we adjusted the page structure and modified the content one month later and decreased the similarity to 30% (by tools from webconfs.com) 4. Google Robots: googlebot crawled our website every day after we submitted for indexing.
We opened GWT account for it and added the xml sitemap last week. GWT said nothing
