Video content and audio content can be indexed and made SEO friendly which can improve the search visibility on varied search options of the search engines.
One of the ways is to add the video and audio content using microdata as per the schema.org.
Usually when we add video we embed the code generated via YouTube for that video if it is on YouTube or for that matter any other video broadcasting site like vimeo, Ted, etc.
For example:
<iframe width="”560″" height="”315″" src="”http://www.youtube.com/embed/7xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?list=UU0LI2nnnSO6lP8ZFj9FIdyA&hl=en_US”" frameborder="”0″" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
But using the microdata format as per schema.org the same code can be written as :
Video: SEO xxxxxxxxxx
<iframe src="”http://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxxxxxxxxxxk”" frameborder="”0″" width="”640″" height="”390″"></iframe>

That may have worked with YouTube's old embedded code, but not with the iFrame one.

We currently only have one option for implementing our Schema. It is populated in the JSON which is rendered by JavaScript on the CLIENT side. H1 and Schema Codes Set Up Correctly?
Greetings: It was pointed out to me that the h1 tags on my website (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com) all had exactly the same text and that duplication may be contributing to the very low page authority for most URLs. The duplicate h1 appears in line 54-54 (see below) of the home page: www.nyc-officespace-leader.com: itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/LocalBusiness" style="position:absolute;top:-9999em;"> <span<br>itemprop="name">Metro Manhattan Office Space</span<br> <img< p="">But the above refers to schema" so is this really duplicate H1 or is there an exception if the H1 is within a schema? Also, I was told that the company street address and city and state were set up incorrectly as part of an alt tag. However these items also appear as schema in lines 49-68 shown below: Dangerous for me to perform surgery on the code without being certain about these key items!! Could ask my developer, however they may be uncomfortable considering that they set this up in the 1st place. I have a client that wants to apply video object schema to their iframe youtube video. Should we stream videos from a subdomain or subfolder?
This is causing some hand-wrangling and I need some help. Let's say we were developing rich video content for our products and our agency is hosting the content on a new external server. There are already plans to link to these videos from product detail pages, category pages, and landing pages on our main website: www.example.com. Would it be better to create a new subdomain or to use a subfolder with a reverse proxy technique for this video content? It's not truly a microsite and will not have a gallery page to navigate the various videos. For example, would it be better to use this: video.example.com/ ...or this (executed with a reverse proxy😞 www.example.com/video/ Of course, regardless of whether this new content will live on a subdomain or within a subfolder, we plan on creating a video Sitemap using guidance from Justin Hammack in this terrific post.
