Please let me know if I have bad backlinks...

I'm not sure of all the parameters in determining a quality backlink or not. The following is a link to my backlinks, can you please let me know what backlinks need to go now for SEO purples?

Hi AutoGlassRescue,
The report you have made available here does not provide sufficient information to make an informed decision on your backlink situation...this report provides only the domains that link to your site.
Within this list I see root domains that may well be hiding large numbers of hosted sites that might have been created for manipulative purposes.
For example:
- wordpress.com could host just a few subdomain.wordpress.com blogs, or perhaps hundreds or even thousands. Without the actual URL list, (as you would get from the most recent links report in Webmaster tools), it is impossible to know.
- yahoo.com could be playing host to some harmless posts from answers.yahoo.com, or it could be concealing an orchestrated effort to manipulate search results via bogus posts on the groups.yahoo.com subdomain. Again, there might be just a few, or hundreds, or even thousands.
There are a number of sites that offer individuals the option of claiming a subdomain which is essentially independent of the domain owner. These also include blogspot.com (and a range of country specific duplicates), tumblr.com and more.
This Link Removal flowchart from the Bruce Clay blog will give you an idea of what to look for when analyzing your backlink profile, but you will need to be looking at individual URLs to get a clear picture of your situation.
You could also take a look at our October Webinar recording and slide deck which focused on link analysis for some more information.
Hope that helps,
Sha

_In have checked some of the back links of yours and seems like most of them are coming from low quality directories. Though directories are not bad necessarily, you need to put a cap on the number. There are some reference of forum, but could not figure it out whether they are the spammy signature links or natural links coming from them. And the most important thing, are you using exact matched keywords while building links. You need to bring some varieties in the process of earning links. Just do not make the whole process too predictable. _

Are the websites that link to your website thematically in-line with your website? It's good to get links that are related to your topic.

You can also search the net for a tool called detox, it is a start, but after the report I highly suggest you use SEOMOZ to make sure that the tool worked correctly. The tool helps people that need to pin point bad links out of thousands quickly.
Have a great night.

Thank you again for the response. Did you see anything else that stood out?

dofollowforums.org? Starting a link building campaign with building forum signature links is NOT a wise choice. If I were Google, this is where I'd start checking for "bad links"...

Backlink question
When I create a website for my clients, I always put our website link in the footer of the description, just to say 'powered by ieatdoorframes' with a link to our website. On SEMrush, its showing as a negative backlink with the reason 'compound', suggesting its a 'money term'. I add this link as I've had success getting new work from clients who like the site we built. I'm new to these terminologies and wondering what I should do?

Which Backlinks to Disavow?
I am a site owner just getting to learn more about managing things myself after outsourcing SEO to a firm a year back (they stopped all activities about 8 months back). The question I have is about disavowing the low quality links. After collecting all the data from many sites on the basis of this helpful posting - (http://moz.com/blog/ultimate-guide-to-google-penalty-removal), I am now left with around 2,800 back-links. I discovered most of the bad ones using ahrefs and majestic (and Google webmaster did not show many of the bad links). In fact, in the very first place, I realized that there was a spam problem when I saw the anchor cloud on ahrefs which showed many unrelated anchors for my site. I have three questions: **First, **Many URL's are actually from websites which have nothing to do with my line of business and I can sure spot them. What I get confused with is this - I can not say that these sites are downright spam. Some of them look to be good sites for example - a coffee machine vendor (with full business details and a fairly decent looking business), a Nike sports shoes mart etc. But they have nothing to do with my business. So my first question is - What is spam really? Would a back link from a high ranking website in the travel industry be considered spam from the point of view of someone who runs a website for medical equipment, specially if the back-link is from an unrelated anchor text like - "3 nights travel package" (which has nothing to do with medical business). I think I should disavow all the low quality back links with an erroneous anchor but Id like some views on this. Second, I see that in the disavow file, one could either upload a whole domain or a specific URL (could somebody please confirm this). I have some sites which have 8-12 (more in some cases) back links to my site. In most cases these sites are either really bad quality or have nothing to do with my business. I am tempted to disavow the entire domain for such sites instead of going by the URL's. Any views? Third, this is what I'd really like some help with. In case I delete the very pages (on my site) to which these back links point, should I still disavow the pointing domain? Finally: I have not created most of these backlinks. In fact, over the last 2-3 months we have started creating links from good sites in my industry. Most of the anchor cloud is good for me on ahrefs but there are these bad ones to which my question relates. I have not got any manual penalty from Google, though my traffic I think took a hit in the first week of October 2013.

Homepage Vs. Inner Page Backlink Building?
If I'm trying to rank multiple inner pages, when does strengthening the homepage become more productive than strengthening the inner pages themselves? Is there a strategy to this? For example, maybe you build up a few dozen backlinks to each inner page, and then focus all your efforts on the homepage? Because, from my understanding, strengthening the homepage will go a long way towards helping your inner pages rank. Is that correct?

Backlinks not showing up in the campaign crawl
I have been adding backlinks, about 110 since the last crawl, but only 14 new linking domains showed in my campaign profile. Can someone explain? Is it that the linking domains were not crawled and thus not seen. Is it that the crawl posting is from data that was crawled a long time ago (4-6 weeks ago) and it took a while for it to show up is it that the domains i got links on were, possibly, not so hot and just get filtered out?
