Hi Hoang Huy Do,
The following page explains quite nicely where you should keywords in regards to on-page optimisation.

In regards to link building, never go overboard with keyword anchor texts. I believe something around 3-4% can be keywords you are aiming for. Otherwise, it should be your business name or natural text such "click here" etc.

Ranking subpage for main keyword instead of homepage – somehow I feel like our homepage is penalized
Hello guys, I hope this question isn't too broad – but I run out of ideas and I feel like there is some technical issue with our site which sees us penalized: Search: German Google

Website: www.elementspure-hotel.de
Keyword: Hotel Bremen Right now we're ranking between 40 and 50 with the subpage /zimmer. a lot of sites with lesser DA scores and a lot more SEO Issues are ranked higher. The homepage is optimized for hotel bremen, yet /zimmer page ranks first, which I just don't understand
(Page Authority is much higher, Keyword density)
– I've run the site through a lot of tools and there aren't any severe issues Search Console doesn't say anything in regards to errors My suggestions which I can't confirm:
– There are some redirection issues (http/https/www/nonww/)
– Backlink issues (a lot of backlinks are from www.elements-pure.de)
– Over optimization penalties? Tank you! Magnus0 -
Homepage not ranking main keywords - structure error?
Dear, Moz community We have an issue. We have a classified advertisement website. Our website is built like this**homepage (**Optimized for main keyword, has latest listings from all categories ) - category 1 (we did not want to add alteration of the keyword we want to rank homepage, as we thought this would "compete" with homepage) - category 2 - category 3 - **category **4 The listing URLs look like this www.example.com/categoryname/listingname Now the issue is that the homepage is not ranking at all for the main keywords. When we used URL structure like this "example.com/main-keyword-listing-id" homepage was ranking (other sites). Now with new site we used the best practice and added url's as described above (/categoryname/listingid).This caused our homepage not to rank at all for the main keywords. What did we do wrong? We want our homepage to rank for the main keyword and categories for theirs. Should we 1. Change the category 1 name to main keyword (maybe some long tail) so we have the main keyword in URLs? So at least one of the main categories has the main keyword in the listing URLs2. Should we change the category listing urls all back to /main-keyword-listing-id? We thought that this was a bit spammy, so that´s why we used categories. _This means that all listings have same URL name and not best for ranking cateogries_3. Just link back to homepage internally with the main keyword and google should catch that? _Currently in menu you go to homepage clicking HOME but we can add for example our main keyword there - Latest car advertisements _I would be happy of any feedback.

What effect does HTTPS have on SEO for a public site?
I have a client who I've been working with for 4 months but getting NO TRACTION at all on their SERPS. This is unusual for me! The only difference to their site from other clients is that the whole site is https so I'm wondering if that's making a big difference. The site is: https://www.cnc-ltd.co.uk Any help of hints would be great thanks in advance Steve

Title Element Too Long; Should I remove site name even if keyword(s)?
Hi all I have numerous pages (37) with a title element that is too long.

Over by 24 is the worst. Here's an example http://cycling-jersey-collection.com/browse-collection/de-nardi-colpack-serhiy-honchar-ukrainian-national-champion-santini-jersey/ Now, the easy route would be to remove "- Cycling Jersey Collection" (the name of the site) which would solve all of these too long warnings. However, given I want to rank well (and I do) for "cycle jersey collection" would removing these hurt my ranking position? Thanks andy0 -
Keyword in URL vs organization
I have a jobs site that currently has the following structure for jobs: www.site.com/jobs/openings/1234.html Categories used to be listed this way: www.site.com/jobs/openings/accounting But we changed it to: www.site.com/jobs/category/accounting Does it matter? Is one better than the other? The page title, heading, and description also have the word "openings" or "opening" in them.

Is it possible to be penalized as duplicate content for one keyword but not another?
I help develop an online shopping cart and after a request from management about some products not showing up in the SERP's I was able to pinpoint it down to mostly a duplicate content issue. It's a no brainer as some times new products are inserted in with copied text from the manufacturers website. I recently though stumbled across a odd problem. When we partially re-wrote the content to seem unique enough it seemed to remedy the issue for some keywords and not others. A) If you search the company name our category listing shows as #1 ahead of the manufacturers website. We always did rank for this term. B) If you search the product name our product page is listed #3 behind two other listings which belong to the manufacturer. C) If you search the keywords together as "company product" we are still being filtered out as duplicate content. When I allow the filtered results to show we are ranking #4 It's been a full month since the changes were indexed. Before I rewrite the content even further I thought I would ask to see if any one has any insight as to what could be happening.

Estimating local or long tail keywords
Google data show little or no traffic for some local and long tail keywords. Do they just have a cut off that anything say under 50 keywords does not show up? Is this data 100% accurate? Are there other methods or tools for measuring this better? Thanks much!
