Building links to a Twitter/social account

I've seen plenty of articles about using Twitter to build links, but how about building links to a Twitter account?
Does registering on sites and directories like Topsy, Twellow and Klout help? We can link to Twitter accounts on our own websites and other social profiles, and use it as our link on blog comments etc, but is there anywhere else specific?

Well each of those sites links to your twitter as well so its a nice two-for-one.
But add you twitter link to author bylines (guest blog posts). Whenever you are mentioned online, ask for a link to your twitter (think interviews).
When you say "link to twitter account... from somewhere specific", I think twitter directories.

Thanks - I've seen that - that's one of the articles I meant I have seen; it's more about using Twitter to build links to YOUR OWN sites. I know the above helps, but I wanted to know if there was any specific advice about building links DIRECTLY TO Twitter accounts.

Social Management Software
Hi all Just wondering, what service do you use to manage multiple social profiles ( in excess of 50). Curious as we have used http://commun.it for twitter accounts, but gets tedious as we need to log in on several different accounts, although great service Also use Hootsuite but reporting is terrible ... Really looking for some platform that offers lots of account management, building networks while offers decent reporting. And preferably some platform that expands beyond Twitter and FB only Thanks in advance John

Contests for link builing?
I had read a great blog post somewhere a couple weeks ago that had some great tips and resources on how to best run a contest (like on FB) and get good links. Had mentioned specific tools and techniques to use. Unfortunately I can not for the life of me remember where I saw this at. Did anyone happen to read this and have the link the post by chance? My Twitter Username was CHANGED by Twitter!
My twitter user name australia was changed by twitter to Australia1_ My original user name has been given to Toursim Australia. I never saw any correspondence about this from Twitter (I may have deleted it), nor from Tourism Australia. I have managed to send 2 related support requests to twitter; Once explaining I couldn't log in - and their reply was; "The email address you're writing from does not match the email on this account. For privacy reasons, we can't offer any more information about the email." Second time that my account was suspended - they replied; "If you're writing in about Australia1_ being suspended, this account is not currently suspended" I don't believe this can be a trademark issue because you cannot trademark a place name. I would love an explanation from twitter- Any tips?

How to reach beyond main social accounts
My blog is still very young - and I feel like a total newbie, but I'm working at it consistently. I've got 21 posts that I've put up since the beginning of January (except for 2 from October) and another in the pipeline and of course, plans to continue on this way. I've been building up my confidence and feel like it's just about time to branch out farther than my Google+, FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts (which I've been doing regularly). My hope is to gain more visitors by publicizing the posts in some other environments. I would so appreciate some suggestions on how I might do that. And also, is it too soon? I don't want to jump the gun before there's an respectable/acceptable amount of content.

Tool/Method to find users on Twitter from a CSV file
I'm attempting to find users to follow and receive reciprocal follows for a client on twitter. Through the company's newsletter database, I have a CSV file of somewhere in the range of 20,000 email addresses and names. I've been importing them 250 at a time into an empty Gmail account then connecting that with twitter each time to find some of them. However, a lot of the PEOPLE using the email addresses on the mailing list are not on twitter but their COMPANY is. To find the company, I can obviously drop the name@ part of the email and just search by the domain but this becomes tedious real quick since it has to be one by one and cannot be bulk imported/searched. Are there any tools/ideas out there to more easily find twitter users based on a larger set of keywords and/or domain names?
