Domain Authoriy/Link Authority - Link Building
-
At what point do you think that an inbound link becomes a bad or low quality link when it comes to the inbound links page domain Authority and page Authority.
SO as they are scored 1-100 in each case.
At what score would you attempt to get rid of such links.
-
Obviously, time is an issue here. With the Mozscape updating once every 3 weeks (roughly), you might get some PA 1 pages that would be great to have a link on.
By in large, I also wouldn't remove links solely on PA/DA. If you're trying to identify spammy links, you may want to start at something that is PA >20 and DA>15 for example, but you'll need to look at a lot of other elements. What is the websites link profile like? Is it in a bad neighbourhood? Is it indexed in Google? Is it over-optimised on site? How many outbound links are there? Where do they link to? Do they have dodgy blogrolls etc.
PA/DA may start this process, but you do run the risk of missing other offending sites with a higher score. Directories are often one of these, but you could get a decent DA/PA blog that has been deindexed, or is blatantly selling links.
It's a decent metric for finding dodgy links, but by no means the be all and end all. I'd recommend taking a look at the LinkDetox tool - you can pay for one complete scan with just a tweet. It looks at your link profile and categorises what links may be toxic and suspicious, based on a number of metrics that they've put together. Put in tandem with PA/DA, you'd be well on your way in identifying any bad links.

I would say <20. But this is really up for grabs. Sometimes low authority sites become high authority. I believe natural links will be natural links. Bad links will be easy to tell. Poor content, site structure etc.

Solved How to reduce the spam score for my domain?
My domain longfeifei.com is for a regular company website and someone sent a lot of external links on different low-quality websites on the internet. Now the score is very high about 75%. If I disavow the unusual links from google search console. Is it possible to reduce the spam score? Is MOZ associated with GOOGLE Data? Thanks,

Domains and sub domains - newbie
Hi Recently set up my SEOM MOZ account so any help would be great! On the competitive domain analysis page the sub domain metrics appear as good (if not better) then the domain. The Moz rank and trust are better on the sub domain. I know the website copy is appearing on both non-www and also www (which I assume is being referred to as the subdomain) on the competitor domain analysis page). Should I now 301 the WWW site to the non-www.... which will then concentrate the SEO and SEOMoz then will only have the root domain metrics appearing? Many thanks for your help in advance!

Missing Juicy link finder
Hello, In the past, I was using two tools mainly: Keyword difficulty and the Juicy link finder. Buit Juicy Link Finder does not exist anymore and I miss it 😞 Any of you are missing it also? Do any of you who were using that tool have found a new tool to do the same good job than what Juicy Link Finder was doing? Thanks Nancy

How do you track links over time?
I'm new to SEOmoz and I'm really enjoying the fact that I can track all my keywords in a single place and monitor the changes. Is there a way to do the same with no my links? I mean: I'm using Open Site Explorar to track my links, but I want to know my link building performance overtime. Is there a way to do this automatically with SEOmoz? In case of a negative answer, how do you track your links over time? Thanks in advance!
