Our URL in Thai language. We cannot read in Crawl report downloaded from research tool. Is there any way to correct this problem?

Hi Amornpong,

Unfortunately at this time, we only support sites in a UTF-8 (English character) format. Because of this, you will periodically run into issues with reporting data and formatting. There currently isn't a way around this, but we are looking at adding support for more languages in the future.

Multiple Countries, Same Language: Receiving Duplicate Page & Content Errors

Hello! I have a site that serves three English-speaking countries, and is using subfolders for each country version: United Kingdom: https://site.com/uk/ Canada: https://site.com/ca/ United States & other English-speaking countries: https://site.com/en/ The site displayed is dependent on where the user is located, and users can also change the country version by using a drop-down flag navigation element in the navigation bar. If a user switches versions using the flag, the first URL of the new language version includes a language parameter in the URL, like: https://site.com/uk/blog?language=en-gb In the Moz crawl diagnostics report, this site is getting dinged for lots of duplicate content because the crawler is finding both versions of each country's site, with and without the language parameter. However, the site has rel="canonical" tags set up on both URL versions and none of the URLs containing the "?language=" parameter are getting indexed. So...my questions: 1. Are the Duplicate Title and Content errors found by the Moz crawl diagnostic really an issue? 2. If they are, how can I best clean this up? Additional notes: the site currently has no sitemaps (XML or HTML), and is not yet using the hreflang tag. I intend to create sitemaps for each country version, like: .com/en/sitemap.xml .com/ca/sitemap.xml .com/uk/sitemap.xml I thought about putting a 'nofollow' tag on the flag navigation element, but since no sitemaps are in place I didn't want to accidentally cut off crawler access to alternate versions. Is there a tool to crawl website meta tags to locate any in an incorrect language?

Example: I'm interested in crawling a regional site for Brazil to find any meta tags that are still in English with the goal being to fix any localization issues.

Multi language websites need proper reporting

Common guys! It can not be THAT difficult to add 3 characters to your reports..
Instead of seeing 3 times Google BE, I would like to see the language code too. SEOmoz PRO: How to manage a Site with 2 languages on the same domain - without mixing up data?

I want to track a "rootdomain" that has two languages on it, the english version is in a subfolder /en/ 1. http://website.de
2. http://website.de/en/ I want to manage and track each language-version isolated. So I will setup:
1. http://website.de as campaign DE - german
= as Root Domain
But as there are links to the /en/ Subfolder these data will also be included in all reports. And there is still no option in SEOmoz PRO to exclude folders or even urls.?! This will be bad when wanting a clear report of just one Language Version. 2. http://website.de/en as campaing EN - english
To track as "Subfolder" will not work beacause this option will only consider exactly this subfolder... So is there a way to see data just only for one language Version?

Ranking report and language

Unfortunately I noticed a huge problem in rank tracker amd ranking report. My site is in italian and I configurate the ranking report using google italy. The problem is that the ranking is related to www.google.it but using a browser set with english language!! Infact for a specific keyword the ranking position is 8 (using english) and 12 (using italian). This is a huge problem for me and makes useless any report! F

Rankings in Google.be - 3 languages

As the site of my customers is in 3 languages, I also want to monitor the rankings in 3 languages. I do have the possibility to monitor them in seomoz: google.be english google.be dutch google.be french However, in the report (http://pro.seomoz.org/campaigns/227154/rankings) I do see the 3 columns, but the title is only google.be, WITHOUT the language selection. Not really helpfull... Any advice? oNDu9

Can the link acqusition tool / web directory list be used for non-english language enquiries?

Hi there, We are currently in the trial period of seomoz pro and have been testing all of the availiable tools. We are very happy with OSE and the other professional tools however we have discovered a barrier in our research methods. 1, Does anyone know how can you use the link acqusition assistant for non-english enquiries? The suggested search queries that are automatically generated are "submit site" "submit url" etc, but this has almost no use for a non-english keyword. - Also are the results only displayed for google.com - is there no localization at all of search enquiries? 2, The list of directories provided by seomoz link: http://www.seomoz.org/directories are anglo-centric. What are the availiable options for non-english speaking directories / local directories NOT based in the United States? Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!
