Affects of multiple subdomains on homebrew CDN for images

We're creating our own CDN such that instead of serving images from

http://mydomain.com/images/shoe.jpg

It will appear at all of the following subdomains:

http://cdn1.mydomain.com/images/shoe.jpg

http://cdn2.mydomain.com/images/shoe.jpg

http://cdn3.mydomain.com/images/shoe.jpg

http://cdn4.mydomain.com/images/shoe.jpg

Image tags on our pages will randomly choose any subdomain for the src. The thought was this will make page loading faster by paralellizing requests across many cookie-less domains.

How does this affect :

-Ranking of images on Google image search.

-Ranking of pages they appear on

-Domain authority (images are linked to heavily in our social media efforts, so we will 301 redirect image urls to cdn1.mydomain.com)

Should we disallow all but one CDN domain in robots.txt? Will robots.txt on an image only subdomain even be retrieved? Should we just use 1 CDN subdomain instead?

Google search console image indexing issue

Google search console tells that only '58 out of the 3553' images in the images sitemap are indexed. But if I search "site:example.com" in Google images there seem to be lots of images. There are no errors in the sitemap and I am still getting reasonable number of image search hits daily. Are the webmaster tools stats for images indexed accurate? How to stop UTM affecting SEO

Dear Moz community, We are a directory website and have lots and lots of UTM. This is crucial as we want to measure visits through Google analytics. Moz as a tool is fantastic because through a site crawl it can spot all our duplicate pages. Needless to say, due to the amount of UTM's on different pages, we have lots of duplicate pages flagged up. I ideal solution is still having the analytics capabilities of the UTM, but not affecting our SEO where search engines will realise it is not a duplicate page - we're aware it is the same page we just want to track the source! Will my SEO Affect If I Redirect existing user from homepage to dashboard?

Hi Guys, My client (SaaS company) wants to redirect all the visitors to the dashboard if they have already created an account with them. The redirection would be done at the server level using a cookie. Does the redirection (though done only if user is already registered) affect SEO rankings? They want to be double sure. Thanks.

Multiple sub domain appearing

Hi Everyone, Hope were well!. Have a strange one!!. New clients website http://www.allsee-tech.com. Just found out he is appearing for every subdomain possible. a.alsee-tech.com b.allsee-tech.com. I have requested htaccess as this is where I think the issue lies but he advises there isn't anything out of place there. Any ideas in case it isn't? Regards Neil

Subdomain for a blog

My client has a site hosted with a company that allows very little customization including I am unable to add a blog to the site. As he has a fair amount of time & money invested in the site, he is reluctant to start over. So my question is this. His blog is currently hosted off site, would it benefit him if I had them add a cname or a record to show his blog at blog.mydomain.com? Or does Google recognize that it is still a separate site and treat it as such? Finally does it matter how they set it up cname, a record or redirect? This is definitely not my area of expertise (if that is not already obvious from the question!). Thanks for your help! Matthew

Multiple domain names with similar content

Hi, we've got multiple domains that point to the same website and same content. The only difference is the currency and some text, you could say only about 5% difference in each domain's content: http://www.redwrappings.com.au/
http://www.redwrappings.com/ Will Google penalise us for having 95% similar content for each domain (they sell the same products but in different currencies)? We shoudn't really put canonical link, should we? Because 5% of the content is different, which means they are not identical. What would be the best solution if this is a problem? Thanks
