Is there a way to set up a business Facebook page without linking it to a client's personal page or having to use our own employee's personal page?
-
Our clients want us to manage their FB pages. I need to know how we can do this without having to enter through the FB page of whomever set up the business account.
I'm aware of the ability of the person who set up the Business page to allow admin access, but that too requires an our employee to give his or her personal FB info for this access.
In the same vein, a former employee set up a client's FB page using his own personal account and now when we enter the client's business page, we do not have access to the search window and we don't have the ability to go to other pages to "like" other pages - the button doesn't even appear if we are signed in and search a FB page through an engine. We do have the ability to see Admin settings and metrics but we don't have the news feed, and we have other limited access/abilities.
I would like to have a central access so neither client or our employee has to offer personal FB log in information.
Thank you,
Julie

Thank you, Charles.
Unfortunately your answer wasn't exactly what I needed, but I appreciate your contribution.

We set up a dummy personal account solely to create and manage pages for each language we work in (Textbroker Germany, Textbroker US, France, etc.). When our employees like the page, we can turn them into an admin. It's not sharing personal data but allowing access from the personal account.
Good luck!

External linking
Hi guys. So I know external linking is good, as I've seem to have read every article written on the subject from 2007 to 2016, but can't seem to find anything more recent, but does that mean you are better to at least one external link on every page? And if so, would it suffice to link just to our social media profiles even if you are in an industry where social media brings in very little in the way of customer enquiries? I've actually linked to all our social profiles but made them nofollow. However, that said, would it be better to leave them nofollow and link to Government white papers in my sector for example?

Google+ pages in search results
I have a simple question - I've read a lot about how google+ pages are ranking well in google searches, and that it's a good idea to incorporate google+ into your strategy. So I was on a call this morning, talking to a client about this. The client brought up the fact that in all his google searches, he's NEVER seen a google plus page in the search results. I realized that I never have either. After some searches, I still don't see any google plus pages, at least not on page 1 or 2. Am I missing something? Needless to say, the client was not convinced about the value of having a G+ page, and I came away not sure what I was missing. So how do people measure the impact of using google+ on their main website? -Jim

WordPress plugin for Facebook login and comment
I've read the WordPress reviews for several plugins that support FB login / comment, but the reviews are generally mixed. Even the plugin developed by FB received terrible reviews. Can you recommend a WP plugin that supports FB login? Best,

Does a 301 redirect pass along Google +1's from the old url to the new one?
When I 301 redirect a page that has content that has been +1'ed by our visitors, I would assume that Google would handle a +1 the same as a link and pass this authority along to the new url. Has anyone had any experience or heard directly from Google confirming this behavior?

I'm having a problem implementing facebook sharing
Hi. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have created a quiz on one of my sites that hopefully will be good linkbait. But I'm having some issues with figuring out how to best get users to share this on facebook. The quiz consists of two pages. The first contains each of the questions. I use jquery to hide and show each question. Then, the second is the results page. The results page has a dynamically generated title and shows a sharable badge depicting their results. So, for one user the results page may say, "I scored 100% on ABC Quiz!" and show a 100% badge. Another user may see, "Apparently I know nothing about ABC! I scored 16% on the quiz!". (Just examples, of course.) If I use the facebook share button, the url that gets shared is the results page and obviously I don't want knew users ending up on the results page. I tried using a rel canonical on the results page (pointing to the original page) but then the dynamic title doesn't get shared. Can anyone help?

What's affect more SEO between number of Facebook "Recommend" of number of fans of the facebook fan page?
I'm wondering what's the most important number in facebook that affect more the SEO of a site: It is the number of "Recommend" that your site have received or It is the number of fans the facebook fan page of the site have? Also does this really affect SEO or not? If you can provide some data, statistics, link to post or whatever it would be very nice. Thanks for your help
