Internal followed links only 5
-
Dear members,
As I understand the importancy of Internal Followed Links I want to increase them for www.ruijters.nl. What I do not understand that Open Site Explorer only counts 5 Internal Followed Links.
These 5 Internal Followed Links must be the hypelinked images on the homepage? But the website in overall definately has more than 5?
Any members who van help me out to fix this problem, so www.ruijters.nl can enjopy his linkjuice?
Best Regards,
Alain Nijholt

"Also any reason you need such accurate information? I mean't WMT numbers should be good enough." I need this information to be sure of a good internal link structure and linkjuice purpose.

William,
Thanks for the url. I want to know the Internal Followed Links and not the Inbound. But to "clear the air" I have put a printscreen. Stange is is this analysis the number 5 for Ruijters compared to the competitors.
What do you think?

Then click on your domain.
I'm still not exactly sure what you are asking for because if you do an "Inbound Internal Link" on OSE, it will still show your URL as the Inbound link to YOUR domain. Isn't that what you want? Followed links from your internal pages? If that is the case OSE should do it for you.
Also any reason you need such accurate information? I mean't WMT numbers should be good enough.
-
William,
Thanks, I also think WMT is more accurate. Unfortunately I cannot find any information about internal links when analyzing http://www.ruijters.nl with majesticseo and ahrefs.
Do you know where to look?
Thanks
-
213 would be more correct. Google WMT just has more power to crawl every inch of your site. WMT also shows more accurate number of links as well. You can try other sites that analyzes backlinks like majesticseo and ahrefs.
SEOmoz has confirmed they don't waste time crawling every page on the web. A employee from SEOmoz replied to a question earlier this month and stated it is sole due to resources and makes it easier on the user to view links without having so many duplicate links from the same domain, which would be your own domain.
-
William,
Thanks but this does not answer my question. I am referring to Internal Followed Links not the Inbound External Links.
According to Google's Webmaster Tool http://www.ruijters.nl has 213 Internal Links.
Open Site Explorer only counts 5 Internal Followed Links, why do Google Webmaster Tool and Open Site Explorer do not match?
Which number is valid? 5 or 213?
Anybody?

I think you need to change the settings when you search your site. Please look at the screenshot below. I am seeing over 1,000 internal links to your domain.

Malicious Link
Hello all, We're doing an adwords campaign, and Google has said that there is a malicious link on the website we're looking to advertise - so cannot launch the campaign. I've tried to go through Search Console (I am a novice BTW). And it says that "Domain properties are not supported at this time". Which I don't understand. Any advice please?!

Should we rel=nofollow these links ?
On our website, we have a section of free to low-cost tools that could help small business increase their productivity without spending big bucks. For example, this is the page for online collaboration tools: http://www.bdc.ca/EN/solutions/smart_tech/tech_advice/free_low_cost_applications/Pages/online_collaboration_tools.aspx None of the company pay anything to be on these list. We actually do quite a lot of research to chose which should be listed there and which should not. Recently, one of the company in our lists asked us to add rel=nofollow to the link to their website because they add been targeted by a manual action on Google and want their link profile to be as clean as possible (probably too clean). My question is : Should we add rel=nofollow to all these links ? Thanks, Jean-François Monfette

Canonical Link Quesiton
I wrote an article that is a page article, but would also be a very good blog post - So my question is two things: 1. If i post it as a static page and syndicate it as a blog post and have it as a canonical link to the page, google will read see the blog and read the page _url as the one with credit correct? In turn not dinging me for duplicate content. 2. Given if the above statement is correct, should I write the blog and put it on my static page referencing the blog or the way i have it as a static page with the blog using a canonical reference back to the page. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

When I look in OpenSiteExplorer, it says that it hasn't followed any of my internal links... WTF?
When I look at my site in open site explorer, it says it has followed 1 internal link.. I know that opensiteexplorer has updated, because my domain rank has changed since the last time i looked. I figured it just hadn't fully crawled and indexed my links, but considering I have had an account here for over a month, and the site is over 7 months old, I doubt that is the case. My site is www.ontracparts.com can anybody help me here?? Thanks, Tyler

OSE - still showing me links are there when they are not?
Has anyone else had the issue for a couple of months now where ose is showing links that are live when they are not. I am doing seo for a big e-commerce website so it is important i can find out what the anchor text distribution is for the domain. How is this possible when ose shows me links which are not live? There's been 2 or 3 updates and still showing expired links in our back-link profile. This is very frustrating and has led me to see if anyone else can recommend an alternative which is more up to date? And yes before seomoz reply, i know you only update a certain percentage of the web.

Mini site links?
Can anyone point me to information about the "mini" site links on the Google search results or tell me how to get them set up? These aren't the full site links that show 3 by 3 under the first listing but small text links that appear for certain results. (See attached image for reference.) Are these something that can controlled/requested? NAj6E.png

Value of Twitter Links
Let's ignore the "social metric" value of Twitter links and mentions and look at it from the pure link juice point of view. Twitter accounts such as http://twitter.com/randfish used to have their own PageRank and were treated as separate URLs. Twitter changed that to http://twitter.com/#!/randfish consolidating all their content to a single URL. When I search for "randfish" in Google, however, the result is the first URL version. Some clarification on this matter would be much appreciated.
