Why google index some meta titles I dont have?
-
Hi there,
I have a problem with a website and I am desperate to find a solution because I have tried many things and nothing works!
My website its: adtriboo.com
Google does not find my main URL (main countro spain) www.adtriboo.com/es and I dont see this page its indexed in google. See link
Also, google its showing some meta titles that are not in my page! For example my subfolder for the country Chile shows this title: Chile - Adtriboo but this its my real title Diseño logo, logotipos, video corporativo - adtriboo
In webmaster tools everything looks good, and if I explore the webpage like google in webmaster tools the code its ok and everything lookd okay.
If you see for example the URL from Chile (www.adtriboo.com/es_CL) the meta title is not the right one!
Also i have a problem indexatión because i am not visible for any of my keywords even in the page 10!
Please, somebody knows what happen?

Yes I did it!
I set up every subfolder for his country:
adtriboo.com/es for spain
adtriboo.com/es_CL for Chile
etc etc....

Did you set up the Geotarget location in Webmaster tools and if so, what did you set it up as?

Why Google won’t display the right page title?
I'm using a WordPress site with the WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast. Why Google won’t display the right page title for my CATEGORY pages? This is s example category page I'm having a problem with: http://bit.ly/1DReQPP
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | soralsokal
In the source code of this category page you can see the title is:
<title>Yoga Übungen - Mit visuellen Guides, Videos & viel Inspiration</title> Now when I check the title in the SERPS it only gives me the the category name 'Yoga Übungen'. See screenshot here: http://awesomescreenshot.com/05942buz60
This happens with ALL the category pages on my site. Google uses the category name instead of the title provided in the source code. I found an article from Yoast dealing with this issue: https://yoast.com/google-page-title/ It's correct, that Google sometimes chooses a different page title, but this article doesn't address the exclusive category problem. For 'normal' pages or posts, Google always shows the title which I've setup in Yoast (and which is in the source code). I don't understand what goes wrong for category pages? Do any of you have a similar problem or experience with that?0 -
Google de-indexed a page on my site
I have a site which is around 9 months old. For most search terms we rank fine (including top 3 rankings for competitive terms). Recently one of our pages has been fluctuating wildly in the rankings and has now disappeared altogether from the rankings for over 1 week. As a test I added a similar page to one of my other sites and it ranks fine. I've checked webmaster tools and there is nothing of note there. I'm not really sure what to do at this stage. Any advice would me much appreciated!

Old/wrong meta-titles in index
Hi, We have problems with old Meta titles in the index of google.nl. If you look for example at this wine: https://www.wijnvoordeel.nl/Italie/Just-Hugo::5460.html The Meta tile is: **Just Hugo | Heerlijke Hugo | Het zomerdrankje van 2014 | Wijnvoordeel ** If you look at the results in Google: https://www.google.nl/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#safe=active&q=just hugo The Meta tile is: Just Hugo - Wijnvoordeel(this is an old/automatic generated Meta tile). I already added the code "", but I don't see any progress. Does anybody knows what could be the problem? Thanks for the help! Douwe Veldstra

To index or de-index internal search results pages?
Hi there. My client uses a CMS/E-Commerce platform that is automatically set up to index every single internal search results page on search engines. This was supposedly built as an "SEO Friendly" feature in the sense that it creates hundreds of new indexed pages to send to search engines that reflect various terminology used by existing visitors of the site. In many cases, these pages have proven to outperform our optimized static pages, but there are multiple issues with them: The CMS does not allow us to add any static content to these pages, including titles, headers, metas, or copy on the page The query typed in by the site visitor always becomes part of the Title tag / Meta description on Google. If the customer's internal search query contains any less than ideal terminology that we wouldn't want other users to see, their phrasing is out there for the whole world to see, causing lots and lots of ugly terminology floating around on Google that we can't affect. I am scared to do a blanket de-indexation of all /search/ results pages because we would lose the majority of our rankings and traffic in the short term, while trying to improve the ranks of our optimized static pages. The ideal is to really move up our static pages in Google's index, and when their performance is strong enough, to de-index all of the internal search results pages - but for some reason Google keeps choosing the internal search results page as the "better" page to rank for our targeted keywords. Can anyone advise? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks!

Google shortens title tag for certain keywords
A friend of mine runs a website over at http://www.web-design-herefordshire.co.uk/ The keywords he is targeting web design hereford and web design herefordshire. When you search these terms (he's found on page 3 on google.co.uk) his title tag is shortened to web design hereford, Does google shorten these when the keyword being searched is the keyword in the domain? I've seen it on a few others.
