How can I cancel a running crawl test?
-
I put in two urls that were incorrect and now I need to cancel the report generation. Is there a way to do this? And if so, would I get my crawl-credits back? Are they cumulative?
-
Unfortunately, these crawls are still going. I have a feeling they are stuck as the urls I put in was not a valid one (the lesson here? 'measure twice; saw once') so they are still running after a week or so.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately there's no convenient way for us to stop a crawl mid-cycle once it has been initiated, at this time once you start report it automatically consumes a credit so there's not really a way for us to replenish the credits on the backend Here's a couple of ways you can get around this if you need one in a hurry.
- In the campaign tool, you can initiate a simple dummy campaign that will initiate a starter crawl. It is only 250 pages, however if you need something in a hurry it is not a bad choice.
- We offer 1 crawl test a day to our community members, it is very similar to a starter crawl where we craw up to 250 pages in your site. If you have a friend or colleague that's a community member, they simply have to log on their account to initiate this!
- If you have a PRO account, those credits replenish the next day, I think its a great excuse to finish that home improvement project you've been dying to do or spend time with family
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have questions.
Best,
Peter

Not sure you can or that it's really worth the effort. I requested once right when i was getting familiar with things, and the crawl test had finished by the time support got back to me. Crawl credits are monthly on paid accounts i believe.

No follow links also been reported in SEOmoz crawl diagnostics
Hi, Why does SEOmoz reports links which has been marked as 'nofollow'. I am getting 'Overly-Dynamic URL' reports on links which I have designated as nofollow which means Google will discount them. So why does SEOmoz still report them. Thanks.

Can I specify a url for a keyword in the rank checker tool?
Hello! I'm new to seomoz and excited to learn the system. I created a campaign and added keywords but I'm not clear how the seomoz campaign rankings tool works. As an example, one of my keywords 'cigar cutters' is reporting at position 20 for url http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_guillotine-cutters.html. However, I think it would be better target to focus that keyword on http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_cutters.html. as a search for 'cigar cutters' could encompass either a guillotine cutter, punch cutter or cigar scissors. Is there any way to assign http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_cutters.html to the term 'cigar cutters' in the campaign ranking report? Brian

Moz crawling
Hi Everyone! I'm new to the SEOMoz and wanted to find out if there is a way to decrease the waiting time for the campaign crawl. I have made a lot of changes based on the first crawl and would like to see how these are reflected on the reports, but can't until the next crawl is performed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How Can I Find All Backlinks
How can I use site explorer to find out which sites are linking to us thousands of times. It says we have over 300,000 total links pointing to our site. I'm thinking there are some sitewide links from other site(s) making up most of that, but I can't seem to locate it/them?

Do crawl reports see canonical tags?
Greetings, I just redesigned my site, www.funderstanding.com, and have the old site pointing to the new site via canonical URLs. I had a new crawl test run and it showed a large amount of duplicate content. Does the SEO Moz crawl tool validate canonical urls and adjusts the duplicate content count or is this note considered? FYI, I sent from no duplicate content to having 865 errors since the redesign went up so that seems suspicious. I would think though that assuming the canonical tag were used properly, and I hope it is?, that this would not be a problem?? All help with this is most appreciated. Eric
