Hi, i am thinking of using rss feed to show a snippet of an article on two sites for people then to be able to visit the main site, but i want to know if this would damage my seo and rankings.

Any help and advice on this would be great

nope that won't harm you, try to ensure it links back to you but no it wont do you any harm - it may even help in some cases

Updating a Business Blog Article - Old or New Published Date

There are a few business blogs that I'm currently updating - include more details, information, case studies, statistics etc. The blog was originally published in September of 2016. Once I make the changes, do I keep the same original date or do I change the date to the day that i've uploaded the new information? Example:
Original Published date: September 2016
Updated Blog: June 2017. What date should the blog display? Thank you.

I allow authority sites to republish my blog articles, which then outrank me

Hey everyone. This is my first question here, I apologize if it has been covered before. I have a health and nutrition blog [authority nutrition] that has been up since December 1st, 2012. I've managed to write quite a few viral articles which have given me a bunch of natural links and a domain authority of 49, which I think is pretty great for such a new site. Haven't done any link building and everything is 100% white hat. Getting good rankings and good traffic already, so I can't complain. My only (1st world) problem is that sometimes major authority sites (DA of 70-95) republish my content. I always say yes if they ask me first, but some of them just republish without even asking. My articles are always indexed on my blog before they get republished, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. These sites always clearly link to the original URL, but they often tend to outrank me for the keywords I was targeting in the articles. They tend to rank in the top 5, but my original article is nowhere to be found. I plan on continuing to allow these sites to republish as I get powerful links and good traffic from them, but it's a bit frustrating that I don't seem to get the credit as the original source. I've already set up Google Authorship, but it doesn't seem to help. Is there anything I can do to make sure Google recognizes my article as the original and chooses to rank my site instead of the authority site that simply republished my article?

Ecommerce site content upgrade timescale.

I have been upgrading my sites content and structure and I have been wondering how long I should wait for a traffic increase before I should think it has been a failure and try a new plan of attack?

Suggestion for E commerce Site

Hi ! We own a E-commerce Store. we have forum and blog & video too. like:- blog.store.com forum.store.com Store.com/videos Now to make it more content rich planning for Q & A on it. Do you think building one more sub-domain (answers.store.com ) is good or Folder (store.com/answers) or should use forum for this. Actually we are selling cosmetics and on chat people asking us many questions. we want to use those question as content. I'm not sure how we should manage it. Thanks

Google still caching old site

Hi all, We just acquired a new domain that was being squatted on by a reseller for a very long time and on the 5th June migrated our site over to it, replacing their advertising holding page. The domain is http://primate.co.uk It's been a week now though and Google hasn't seemed to have updated it's cache. Doing a search for 'primate.co.uk' in Google lists the site but with the old holding page description. Web master tools doesn't report any errors or issues with the site. Does anyone know how we can get Google to index the domain and update it's cache? Cheers, Gordon
