Facebook Fan Page Name Question

I know this is a silly question. But i cant find good advice on the topic anywhere. I have a company fan page with 3,500 fans.
However, there were some serious changes to the company name, and i dont want to start a new fan page, because of the current fans.
Any ideas on this topic?

Click Edit Page and in Basic Information you will find the field "Name"
Also, there is a Username field too you can change.

You should (definitely) not delete the current account. Why loose all that fans?
Maybe you should consider to change name like "New Name (Formerly Old Name)" and after some time, maybe after a couple of month, remove old name.

Thanks for the response. I am not worried so much by either of them, i kinda like the momentum of interaction with our few fans, they are engaging and we´ve been getting a decent number of leads from the community.
I wish i could just change the name of the fan page, to something more in synch with the company recent changes.
I dont know if by deleting this account, I will lose them or it will build back but in a slow manner.

How to regain Facebook Page Authority - For page badly affected with spam users
Case- company Facebook page has more than 10K users and almost 50% are spam. When this happens, edge rank of the page is badly affected (because spam users are not interested in your shared content so they hide you/remove you from feed and of course never engage). Not to mention Facebook released an update end of 2014 where page will have less visibility anyway compared to user updates. Overall the Page updates get very less exposure / impressions Now only solution is to remove this huge no of spam users one by one or by an API. New FaceBook Fan Page Call To Action Button !
Hi On one of my projects FB fan pages ive been given option to create a CTA button such as 'Shop' 'Contact Us' 'Watch Video' etc etc However on another projects FB fan page i logged in to try and set up for too and not being given the option although has many thousands more fans than the page i had been offered it for !1 Does anyone know how new this option is and likely reason only being offered it for a low fan number page and not pages with high fan numbers ? Facebook Reach on Post Just Spiked!
Yesterday I put a post with a photo on our company Facebook page Normally our reach on a post is 500-600 out of a list of 77,000 followers. However, since posting this one yesterday afternoon, our reach has hit almost 9,000! The only thing different with this post vs. any others we've done is that I put a text link for the company name back to the same Facebook page that the post was put on. I didn't intend to do this, it's just that when I started typing in our company name, Facebook suggested making it a link, so I thought, why not? I'm thinking somehow that made it appear in more people's timelines than usual. We posted it the same time in the day as every other post, and this was the only thing unique about it. Any thoughts?

We got 10,000 facebook likes overnight from people in another country. WHY? How do I get rid of them?
Our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/MobileAttic received more than 10,000 likes over night. We only had about 250 likes prior to this. I know this hurts our engagement numbers as well as limits real customers / community from seeing our posts. Is there any way to get our fans down to a real "non-spammed" number?
