New FaceBook Fan Page Call To Action Button !

Hi
On one of my projects FB fan pages ive been given option to create a CTA button such as 'Shop' 'Contact Us' 'Watch Video' etc etc
However on another projects FB fan page i logged in to try and set up for too and not being given the option although has many thousands more fans than the page i had been offered it for !1
Does anyone know how new this option is and likely reason only being offered it for a low fan number page and not pages with high fan numbers ?

As far as I know they started to offer it last year, but i´m not 100% sure

Thanks Oliver yes that does make sense although I would imagine that they would offer CTA options for all page types, maybe just with different CTA types, so i'm thinking it may just be a random roll out.
Do you know how long these CTA's have been offered for or are they a brand new feature ?

This options are offered in Business Fanpages so it may has to do something with your fanpage type

Facebook Page - About/Description/General About/Mission - Questions
Hi, Im just setting up a FB fan page for a client How terrible is it to use clients websites home page descriptive copy as the Facebook page long description ? Language is in Turkish which i don't speak so i'm not able to edit a new version of it just for FB and no budget to hire Turkish speaker to come up with something. So was going to copy & paste but that would be duplicate with HP obviously. How important is it to fill in 'Mission Statement' & 'General About' ? Especially if long description likely to already include that info ? I think long descrip is important for FB pages on seo etc etc but a good one eliminates importance of 'Mission' & 'General About', or is it still advisable to fill these in or are they just extra boxes for flexibility ? I take it when it comes to securing a vanity url (once we hit 25+ fans) for a foreign language version FB page it should ideally be brand name (which includes a keyword) in the local/target language ? The page name is already the brand name in English but since contains keyword is it best to rename into local target language similarly to the url for consistency and local targeting or better to keep one in Turkish and one in English ? What metrics does the fb:admins Facebook Open Graph tag actually provide?
I'm considering implementing the "fb:admins" Open Graph tag on our website to provide our social media team with additional analytics. We already have the other standard OG tags in place. My question is twofold: Can you use a Facebook Page ID rather than an individual user's account ID? What data, specifically, will this tag provide? Our site already has an official Facebook Page and I'm curious whether this tag would make any NEW information available, outside of what we can already get within the Page Insights. I would love to see a screencap if anyone has it implemented! Facebook outlines the tag usage here, but it's not exceedingly helpful: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/insights/ Thanks guys!

Facebook Likes, What are your thoughts on people begging for them?
Hi There, I'm seeing more and more businesses (especially small businesses) setting up Facebook pages and then almost begging people to like them with lines such as "lets see if we can get to 200 likes", etc etc. What are your thoughts on this does it really help and do you think Google will find a way to not count them as spammy?

Contacting Facebook
Does anyone know how to make meaningful contact with Facebook??? Last month I tried to set up a couple Facebook PPC campaigns for a couple clients only to find out that I can't because another client of mine for whom I set up a Facebook PPC campaign last fall has an outstanding balance of a whopping $30. To be clear, I was only an admin on the client's Facebook page. Their credit card (not mine) was in use, and they didn't pay their bill. So now, Facebook is holding that against me. I've contacted them through one of the help forms on the site. They clearly don't understand where I'm coming from. I've now sent them 3 emails, and now I'm not receiving a response. I just recently resorted to sending a direct message through Facebook to Facebook Marketing. No response. It really does boggle my mind how they're penalizing me, and in turn, my clients, because another former client of mine from nearly a year ago has a $30 balance. I'm not even an admin on the one client's Facebook page anymore?! With AdWords, I regularly have clients who owe Google money but that doesn't affect all of my other clients.

Buying Facebook Shares?
Would it be considered buying links if you asked your Facebook fan base to share a specific product page, and by doing so they will be entered to win a drawing? How would Google look at this? And could we expect a significant increase in rankings as a result? Or would it just be a temporary "what's trending?" boost you think?

Widgets like Facebook Like and AddThis - Any Negative SEO?
I could go widget crazy with my website, there are so many cool buttons and linking this and likes and etc. There's one that is used a lot, called "Addthis" that adds a series of small icons to share a page via facebook, twitter, etc. The javascript looks innocent enough, but there's a link, and who knows what google makes of it. Then there are the dozen or so Facebook widgets - are they safe to use without negative SEO consequences? Does anyone know of any other pitfalls with using the numerous addons offered free to enhance your site? Thanks for any wisdom out there! Jean

Facebook Campaign?
I would like to give away 10 tickets to a local event and if people want to participate they have to like us and share the post on their wall.
