Have you checked if your listings are still live, or if they have just dropped out of the 'top 7' listings?
Check in your Google Local management tool and see if your listings have been suspended. If they have then you may need to review the listings for a well-written description, non-keyword-based business name, non-spammed categories, accurate business location and whether other useful media (photos/videos) have been added.
If you've just fallen out of the top 7 then you may need to look at
- New entrants/competitors coming into the results
- Have you got third-party reviews on your listing
- Are you active as a business on Google+?
- Are you represented on any other local resources?
- Have you got geolocation tags and address snippet markup on your website.
These are just some pointers, so hope you found something useful.

Is it important to have a csv with high listing keywords?
I understand some digital marketing companies have a list of relevant keywords that are high ranking. I'm just curious why might they need it? I'm thinking about adapting this process into my companies marketing department, but I can't justify it if it is necessary. Could somebody care to explain why its important and an example when needed?

Keywords in site maps. Can there be too many? Can they be considered to be stuffed?
Hi everyone,
On-Page Optimization | | TheJewelleryEd
I'd appreciate some insight on a keyword stuffed site map I've seen on a site similar to ours (we don't have this kind of menu ourselves).
https://www.1stdibs.com/sitemap/jewelry/stone/pink-diamond/
This is accessed from a site map. Do you think it's too blatant / keyword stuffed? I haven't done this with our site, but am interested to see a big reputable site doing something so clearly just for SEO.
Would it work? Or would search engines dislike it? I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

Jobs listing page optimization
I've a client with a jobs page. I've found that a high traffic, low competition keyword phrase 'OH jobs' and wish to optimize appropriately. The trouble is that there is hardly any body text and any number of job entry listing. As the listing which all go to individual job description pages, naturally fit the description (part description) OH Job - would it be good to use this description within the anchor text of the links? If so is there a maximum? I've been trawling around SEOmoz and Google Search and have got more and more bogged down! ta

Duplicate content list by SEOMOZ
Hi Friends, I am seeing lot of duplicate (about 10%) from the crawl report of SEOMOZ. The report says, "Duplicate Page Content" But the urls it listed have different title, different url and also different content. I am not sure how to fix this issue.. My site has both Indian cinema news and photo gallery. The problme mainly coming in photo gallery posts. for example: this is the main url of a post. apgossips.com/2012/12/18/telugu-actress-poonam-kaur-photos . But in this post, each image is a link to its enlarged images (default wordpress). The problem is coming with each individual image with in this post. examples of SEOMOZ report 3 individual urls as duplicate content...from the same above post.: http://apgossips.com/2012/12/18/telugu-actress-poonam-kaur-photos/poonam-kaur-hot-photo-shoot-stills-4 http://apgossips.com/2012/12/18/telugu-actress-poonam-kaur-photos/poonam-kaur-hot-photo-shoot-stills-3 http://apgossips.com/2012/12/18/telugu-actress-poonam-kaur-photos/poonam-kaur-hot-photo-shoot-stills-2 Some body please advise me.. Lots of Listings on Page 2 SERP, but none on the first?
For one of our most important keywords we have several pages ranking highly on the second page of search results in google. Yet none on the first page, is there anyway to concentrate our rankings to bump one to the first page? We would rather have even just one link on the first page than the 4 or 5 we have on the second now.

What are the benefits of footer expanded site maps?
Many sites display a site map on the bottom of each page with a limited depth of around two deep. Has anyone done a A/B test on this, for selected search terms? Is this good practice?

Long URL in listing job portal
Hello I have job portal and I am listing job offers by: regions, position, sector, language skill For example, when user searchs job in Bratislava, Programmer, information technology, english. My URL is www.presbium.sk/bratislava/pragrammer/information-technology/english Title:Job in Bratislava, Programmer, Information technology, english I know, that URL is too long and no good for SEO. Is it solution? When user chooses max. 2 items for example: www.presbium.sk/bratislava/programmer/ than I put in every next links atribute nofollow and google will index only pages with max. 2 items: www.presbium.sk/bratislava/ or www.presbium.sk/programmer/ or www.presbium.sk/bratislava/programmer/ but not www.presbium.sk/bratislava/protrammer/english/, because english link has atribut nofollow. And I want to ask, what is the best solution for SEO when I am listing job offers by regions, position, sector, language skill and I have than long URL and Title www.presbium.sk/bratislava/pragrammer/information-technology/english Title:Job in Bratislava, Programmer, Information technology, english

Should our social network put all of our member profiles in the site map?
We're working on some changes to our site and want to add a site map file to give some hints to search engines on our member profiles. Our site has millions of member profiles. I want to ensure that Google indexes them. Is there a benefit to submitting millions of profiles across multiple site maps? Is it better to pick a sample of those and submit them? Most member profiles have links to other member profiles. Is there any benefit to taking a single site map of 50k links and then changing it at some frequency so that all of the member profiles are eventually indexed? Thanks.
