How to make a Crawl Report readable?
-
Hi!
I am trying to find out how I make my CSV report neat, so I can interprete the report.
I know have a CSV report with just numbers and text all in one column. I tried the button text to columns but that doesn't work because when I do that at column A it overwrites column B in which I have the same problem!
Thanks

Hi Lonneke
It depends on your version of Excel, but it sounds to me like you are opening a file that is CSV (comma separated values) and excel isn't seeing the comma as a delimiter.
When you first open the file, there should be a wizard that lets you specify that it is a delimited (not fixed) file and that your delimiter is a comma. That should fix your problem....

Hi Carole,
Thank you for your help. Before I can use a pivot table, I first need to split the columns with the data to different columns. How do I do that? I now have things like 'no,no no no no no, in one cel..

Hi L.B.,
Your best bet is to use Pivot Tables in Excel. With pivot tables, you'll be able to aggregate, sort, and filter the data, which will then become extremely valuable!

Different Report Branding for each campaign
Quick Q: Do Pro Plus/Elite memberships allow you to setup different report branding for each campaign? Say for example I wanted one campaign to be branded with the logos of an agency I was doing work for and another to have my logos on. Or is there just a single general branding option that covers all campaigns? Thanks.

Does it make sense to have multiple campaigns for one website?
I'm new to SEO and SEOMoz. While setting up my campaigns, I was a bit confused. Do I need to setup separate campaigns for different pages of my site? For example, I run a proofreading service: www.kibin.com I obviously want to track keyword on the main page (like proofreading service), however, I also want to track keywords (like 'essay editing') on www.kibin.com/essay-editing Should these be two separate campaigns or do I just put all the keywords into one campaign for kibin.com? Thanks!

Slowing down SEOmoz Crawl Rate
Is there a way to slow down SEOmoz crawl rate? My site is pretty huge and I'm getting 10k pages crawled every week, which is great. However I sometimes get multiple page requests in one second which slows down my site a bit. If this feature exists I couldn't find it, if it doesn't, it's a great idea to have, in a similar way to how Googlebot do it. Thanks.

Question regarding the SEOmoz Report Card
A report card is directed towards one keyword. What if one is to target two keywords on one page? For example, if I want to target SEO in Miami, Miami SEO, and SEO Miami it would be impossible to get an "A" on the report card for all three. What is the best way to target two-three keys on one page? Lets say these keywords are equally beneficial to the site, and we do not want to have to use hierarchy for one key over the other. Would it be wise to build a page for each? I feel like that would be redundant to the user. It says I need the keyword 4 times in the body so I should have 4 "SEO Miami" and 4 "Miami SEO". High importance factors. What makes them high importance? The keyword should be in the beginning of the title. How does this make sense as a high importance factor. Many titles are going to sound spammy if this is how they are written. Lets use Miami SEO again as an example: Miami SEO from [company name] bla bla bla sounds like spam. Learn about SEO in Miami from [company name] sound much better and is probably more likely to get clicked on. How important are these High Importance factors? I was always under the impression that we build the site for the user however the report card changes that perspective.
