Google cache tool help

This link is for the Ebay Google cache - http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.ebay.com&strip=1
I wanted to do the same for my homepage so I switched out the urls and it worked. When I try to get a different link in there such as mysite.com/category it wont work. I know my pages are indexed. Any ideas why it wont work for other pages?
-
Yes. Once you get to the cached page, on the bottom right of the grey bar at the top is a link that says "text-only version". Click on that, and there you have it.
-
I am trying to look at the text only part, when I looked at the cache directly from search it shows the entire page. Is there a way to do text only?
-
Is there some particular reason you want to do it that way?
If you use the URL you are interested in as a search term, you can just click on the little green down arrow next to the green URL in the SERP and choose cache; this will show you what Google has cached and when it was cached.

Niners52,
Should work for a fully qualified URL. I just tried it for my root domain www.davenporttractro.com as well a one of our deep product page URL www.davenporttractor.com/p-896-be-careful-plate-a-b-g-r-50-through-820-1948-1956.aspx
So I'm not sure what URL you are trying, but try and remove the http:// portion of a URL you may be inserting. This made a big difference in my experiment.
I suspect that you may not be able to use the wildcard /

How do I hide comment reply's from google? Do I need to?
Reason for asking is Moz reports them as URL too long. Should these even be indexed by google if not, how do I hide them? Example URL : https://www.tansleyphotography.co.uk/farnham-castle-wedding-claire-chris/?reply-to=1876 This really doesn't need indexing, as it's just a comment on a blog post. Does it matter?

How to delete a Google My Business Account?
I am handling a client's account that has been closed for two years now. We do not have any access anymore to any of the emails that we used to create, we also forgot what were those. So what I did, I claimed it using my company email. Got the code and was able to claim it. Now it is showing up on my GMB Account. I have read the posts on here and some Youtube videos. Here are the steps I have taken: 1. Opened google.com/business 2. Clicked on the Location 3. Click on the three lines at the top left 4. Here is where I am having a problem. The Settings on here is not for the listing but for my company email. Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing: 1. https://prnt.sc/in8vsr 2. https://prnt.sc/in8wax Please help experts. Cheers,

Google search result dramatically dropped with drop in DA.
It looks like on 11/13 by site traffic dropped by like 75% and it just happens to coincide with the MOZ DA dropping to. Anyone else see this?

Do subfolders for grouping common services pages help SEO?
Hello, fellow MOZers. Here is the question: Is there any benefits/disadvantages of having pages, grouped by common type of service, to be put into subfolder with keyphrase-friendly phrase? Example: We have website https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/ and several services under "SEO" niche, such as: SEO (page name seo-houston.php) Social Media Marketing (page name social-media-marketing-houston.php) Email Marketing (page name email-marketing-houston.php) So, is it better to have these pages in root directory like this: https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com**/seo-houston.php** https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com**/houston-social-media-marketing.php** https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com**/email-marketing-houston.php** OR is it better to group them in subfolder "houston-seo-services" for "extra" keyword and convenience reasons like this: https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/houston-seo-services/seo-houston.php https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/houston-seo-services/social-media-marketing-houston.php https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/houston-seo-services/email-marketing-houston.php Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!

My Site's Name Not Ranking in Google
Hey all, I've seen a few posts like this. But I wanted to start a new thread in hopes I may find the underlying issue. I've had my site: http://www.ctrl-alt-success.com for about 2 years. Recently I've started really adding a lot of content to it. (about 2-3 posts a week). I get zero organic views which is fine as I know it's still in the beginning. But here's my main question. If I type "ctrl-alt-success" into google. I get some site that shows up. "ctrlaltsuccess.com" I've been looking at this issue forever. That site has been "coming soon" for nearly 2 years. lol My site doesn't even show up on the first 10 pages of google. However in Bing and Yahoo it ranks on the first page. What could my site be doing wrong that it's not even ranking for the exact domain name? Keep in mind, if I google "ctrl-alt-success.com" my site comes up fine. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Alt image tags not being read by on-page optimization tool
Can bots see the keyword among other words in aIt image tags? For example, if the keyword is upholstery leather and the image tag says "our upholstery leather collection" will the keyword be recognized? Another example is buy leather. I have a image tag on a slide that reads "free samples before you buy leather" but an on-page analysis in moz does not show an alt tag title for buy leather? Same problem with an moz on-page analysis of the term upholstery leather. Thanks! Hunter

SEOMOZ tool - on page optmization question
Ok, I had the tool examine a page and while I got an A, it did say this..... Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization Easy fix <dl> <dt>Cannibalizing link</dt> <dd>"Kitchen Storage Racks", "Home Storage Racks", "Garage Storage Racks", "Wine Storage Racks", "Bicycle Storage Racks", and "wine storage racks"Explanation</dd> <dd>It's a best practice in SEO to target each keyword with a single page on your site (sometimes two if you've already achieved high rankings and are seeking a second, indented listing). To prevent engines from potentially seeing a signal that this page is not the intended ranking target and creating additional competition for your page, we suggest staying away from linking internally to another page with the target keyword(s) as the exact anchor text. Note that using modified versions is sometimes fine (for example, if this page targeted the word 'elephants', using 'baby elephants' in anchor text would be just fine).</dd> <dt>Recommendation</dt> <dd>Unless there is intent to rank multiple pages for the target keyword, it may be wise to modify the anchor text of this link so it is not an exact match.</dd> </dl> The keyword that was optimized was "storage racks". In the explanation it says that baby elephants is fine if elephants is your keyword so why isn't wine storage racks or kitchen storage racks ok what is the difference? why is mine cannibalizing but baby elephants is not? This may be very simplistic to you all but I'm learning as i go, thank you in advance
