Can no longer access my google + profile

A marketing firm set up my google + profile for my company a year ago. They no longer have the access to the account, and i need to either shut it down, or be able to access it and make some changes.

Does anyone know how to delete a google + business profile or gain access to it somehow.

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Jesus,

Business profiles are owned by G+ accounts, you will either need to access the account that controls the page or have that person (that owns the account) removing it or changing the owner.

If none of those options are possible, then you will need to move on and create a new page.

How is your social media profile?

Hi At the moment im trying to make a social media strategy for the company i work in, whcis is a big insurance company. Of course i want to add value on the different social media, but i also want to take into account which value the social media can add to my SEO. Facebook
We have a profile on Facebook, with around 5.000 likes, and as far as im concerned the important thing on Facebook is to get people to share your links? Google+ At the moment we dont have a Google+ account, but my suggestion would be that we create one . maybe not to generate alot of content, but in order to get more info on the branded search results - and i have a presumption that Google will put more and more emphasis on Google+ in the updates that lies ahead. Twitter We have a profile, but are there anything we could do in order to optimize the SEO-effect via Twitter - what i have heard is that because their links are no-follow it dosent have any effect on SEO. Instagram
Is there anything to gain on SEO if you create a profile on Instagram? Please let me hear your views on this. Thanks in advance.

Why is Google+ so confusing?

I have to update my data in 3 separate place is there anyway to just update one area and it filters into all required places. I have a 1)Google+ places page 2)Google+ profile page, what I would expect others to use for my business 3)Google+ page seems to be the one I should be using for my business? Should the Google Plus button be sitewide?

Hi All, We are in the process of adding a Google Plus button to our site (to the header, sitewide) - at http://www.jewelleryoutlet.com.au/ My question is, should the button have behavioural characteristics that apply to the whole site, or only for that page that it is clicked on. Consider these scenarios: A customer clicks on the G+ button from the homepage - they then 'like' that page (our homepage, i.e. our site) A customer clicks on the G+ button from a category page - e.g. http://www.jewelleryoutlet.com.au/cheap-necklaces-s/1818.htm. Because the button is in the header and sitewide, should the customer be 'liking' http://www.jewelleryoutlet.com.au/ or http://www.jewelleryoutlet.com.au/cheap-necklaces-s/1818.htm? We are also adding a Google + button to the item template, e.g. on http://www.jewelleryoutlet.com.au/product-p/jn1003.htmsomewhere above the Add to Cart button. When they press the button in this instance, they are 'liking' only that page (which is how I would want the functionality to work). So my question is to do with point 2 above. Much like a Facebook 'like/fan count' type button that exists in the header of many sites, should the G+ button function the same way? E.g. if we have a count of 10 in the header on the homepage, then there is also a count of 10 sitewide? Or should this reset for every subsequent page that a customer lands on, and by pressing the G+ button on that page, they are 'liking' only that page. Which is better for SEO? Several different +1's to different pages (e.g. from the necklaces, bracelets and earrings category pages for a more natural structure) or several +1's all pointing to the homepage? Any help or suggestions regarding G+ button or the service in general would be much appreciated. Thanks

Can you set up a Google 'author' for rich snippets using a G+ business page or does it have to be a personal profile?

I've set up an author profile for myself, but if I'm writing articles for clients, I don't necessarily want to do it in my own name. Is it possible to set up a Google author profile using a G+ business page? Obviously the idea is to try and gain the rich snippets that only recognised authors receive, but to do so in the name of my client.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Q&A widgets that can integrate into my ecommerce site?

I am managing an ecommerce site with over 1000 SKUs. Does anyone know of any Q&A widgets we can add to our site for individual products where customers ask questions and moderator can answer them? FYI I'm looking for something similar to Golfsmith.com, which has a great tool q&a tool.
