Why Is My Title Element Too Long? (> 70 Characters)
-
I recently launched a new website and according to the Moz Crawl Diagnostics Summary, I have more than 8,000 pages that have Title Elements that are Too Long (>70 Characters).
But, when I look at these Page Titles, most of them seem to be (<70 Characters).
Examples (with pages linked to the actual website):
Collection page // Brooklyn Nets Shirts - Nets T-Shirt, Tees, Tops | Sportiqe Apparel (Moz reports this page title is 92 characters, over by 22)
Product page // EA SPORTS Boxing Shirt - Red | Sportiqe Apparel (Moz reports this page title is 73 characters, over by 3
Blog post // 50 Father's Day Gift Ideas For Dad | Sportiqe Apparel (Moz reports this page title is 79 characters, over by 9)
Is there a way to verify that the Moz tool is correct, and I'm overlooking that these page titles are indeed >70 characters? Any insight on how to resolve this problem as well? Appreciate any advice or articles that discuss this issue.

Chris is correct I have seen this before where it counts line breaks before and after text.
to fit in with all search engines you should keep to 65.
Another thing to consider, title tags have so much power, that power is divided between the keywords. If you have a long title not so much power is given to each keyword.
If your parents leave 1 million dollars in their will, you will be a rich man, but if you have 10 brothers and sisters then not so rich.

Makes sense. Thanks!

In the HTML, your title is spread over 4 lines and it seams that Moz is counting additional charaters because of that. It seems as though Google is presenting it correctly but you really should get that fixed.

Unsolved Issue with API Results and Excessive Token Consumption
Dear Moz Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns regarding the performance of the Moz API, which I have been using for domain information retrieval through Zapier. Despite paying for your API service, I am encountering several significant issues that are affecting my ability to use the service effectively: Incorrect and Inconsistent Data: When I query domain information, I receive incorrect results for Page Authority (PA), Domain Authority (DA), and Spam Score (SS). Specifically, PA and DA are always returned as 1, while SS is consistently -1, which indicates that the data being provided is either incomplete or incorrect. This discrepancy is preventing me from relying on your service for accurate domain insights. Excessive Token Consumption: I have noticed that the API token usage is significantly higher than expected. After querying only 250 domains, my token consumption has already exceeded 6,000 tokens, which seems unusually high. I had understood that the token usage would be calculated per query, but it appears that the consumption is much higher than anticipated. Given that I have invested in this service, I am frustrated that I am not receiving the expected level of performance and data accuracy. Could you please investigate these issues and provide clarity on why this is happening? Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve these discrepancies and ensure that I am using the API in the most efficient way possible. I look forward to your prompt response and assistance in resolving these issues. thank you

Solved Refund
Hi I forgot to cancellation my subscription before the trail expired. We are currently at a very nascent stage and do not require the product and can't afford it as well. During such trying times ( COVID, when the business is not doing well at all) we would really appreciate if you can refund the money and help us. Kindly consider. We missed the date by one day. We will be really grateful. Regards, Prachi Joshi

0% visbility and no ranking keywords.
Yesterday, we uploaded a new campaign but it appears it has 0% of visibility and no keywords ranking. What might be the problem? The website has a domain authority of 39 and 500 visits in the last week. But according to the Moz campaign they don't even rank for the name.

Duplicate Page Title
I am seeing pages show up in my campaign Errors report for Duplicate Page Title. One for example states that this page: https://www.inprocorp.com/AboutInPro/AboutUs/HistoryTimeline/tabid/316/Default.aspx has a duplicate page title as this page: https://www.inprocorp.com/AboutInPro/HistoryTimeline/tabid/316/Default.aspx I have a redirect setup so that if you access page #2, you are redirected to page #1. So how do I get errors like this to drop off my report? Have I not fixed the problem sufficiently for the crawler? Thanks, John

RSS title element too long
I'm getting an error of the title element being too long on a few pages. Most of them are super easy fixes however there is one that's not. On our rss feed I think the titles of each blog are getting concatenated together. Here is the example of the xml: <title>First Blog title</title> <title>Second Blog title</title> When I check using a spider simulator (http://www.feedthebot.com/tools/spider/index.php) it tells me that my title is the actual page title tag. Is this a MOZ error and will it show up on google properly? The second part I've noticed about the rss feed is that it's reporting too many links in it. Does that matter in this case? Thanks
