What is the best free 'contact finder' tool?
By contact finder I mean a tool that can search multiple websites and display the contact details of each site.
Why do Moz not provide such a tool?
Thanks

Thanks.

Here you go with a excellent tool to collect contact info
http://tools.citationlabs.com/tools/contacts-finder/index.html
Its free for a few after which its cheap 10$ for 100 MB of queries. I tried this and could collect 1000 sites info in 10$
Try it before you buy it..

In Buzzstream, you can get all of the links from the past few months uploaded via CSV straight away - the only problem would be if you had a tonne more over the next 14 days.
Good luck all the same.

PremioOscar,
Thanks for the comment.
As simple as it sounds, you could well be right. If I can not find an intern student to do it manually, I will settle for social media.
Thanks again for all the comments.

Yes it's a one-shot thing, but there are a lot of links that have accumulated over the last few months so will take some time is all.
Thanks for you're help anyway.
-
You could just write a post thanking the people that have linked to you on your social media.
I am sure they will appreciate more than any email you want to send them.
-
I don't know of a free one, to be honest. But if you're just thanking a load of people that have linked to you, it's a one-shot thing right? Or are you scraping for spam purposes after all?!

Edlondon,
Thanks, I have had a look at buzz stream and although it does look good, we would not get enough use out of it to make it worth the price, which is why we were really looking for something that was free?
-
Or if you're dealing with a website that requires link-removal.
Buzzstream is good, it's not free but you do get a free 14 day trial: http://www.buzzstream.com/link-building/plans-pricing

To simply speed up the process of sending thank-you emails to a number of blog that have linked to our site.

to send a bunch of spam?

Webmaster Tools shows mystery errors that Moz does not
One of my campaigns is doing great in the sense that the website has been running fault free for a few months now. Great, of course! But... in Google Webmaster Tools errors keep coming in showing older media documents and pages. And it does not say where they are from. Probably this is more a Google question, but I thought I'd try to find some answers here first. I would appreciate any suggestions and help. Monique

Used a free WP theme and now Webmaster Tools has shown hundreds of broken links
Hello everyone, We've recently launched two new music instrument listing websites. One in the US http://www.yourinstrument.com One in AU http://www.yourinstrument.com.au While we're waiting for our custom, branded WP to be built, I went and put up one of the free themes with closely matching colors. Clearly, this was a mistake because now my WMT account has spit out around 200 'not found' errors and my Moz account is calling them around 282 'dupe page titles' and 'content'??? 1. Aren't WP outbound links supposed to be 'nofollow' ? / Why is my theme creating strange links? 2. Can I clean all these up with assigning rel=canonical to the original blog post? Do I need to wait for the new theme to be installed and then 301 the random URLs found by Moz and WMT ? weird link examples: http://imgur.com/Cm6pO5H Please help 😕

Crawl findings 301 redirects I didn't make?
Hi, I'm new to SEOMOZ Pro and loving it so far, but was confused as to how the 51 page Crawl of my site (http://cryptophoneaustralia.com) found so many 301 redirects. 18 to be exact. It's a Wordpress site, and my htaccess file has no 301's in it, so I'm kind of confused as to where to start looking as to why they've shown up in the crawl. I've been building sites for years, and use 301's quite regularly, but this site should have none. The site was originally on a subdomain until it was ready to go live, then I moved the site to it's current domain and ran the Velvet Blues plugin to update all the URLs. I then went through and manually changed the ones in areas where this plugin tends to miss. The site still functions fine, it just bothers me why the 301's are being found in the crawl. Thank you.

How accurate is SEOMoz's keyword analysis tool?
For the most part, SEOMoz's keyword analysis tool has been in line with other tools like Adwords keyword tool with regards to competitive level. I have just encountered a keyword though that a client may choose to compete on that seems to be far off. keyword phrase: online math games Adwords competitive level: Low SEOMoz competitive level: 80 This seems like a sizeable difference (I know the two compare all results vs first page authority's, but typically they are in line with each other). With other related keywords for the industry in question, SEOMoz and Adwords seem to be in line. This one just got me thinking. I know the SEOMoz score is a sign of the strength of the top results and that the "low" score from Adwords may be a sign of much weaker results on the following pages (with a higher number of weaker pages vs fewer high authority outliers). **Question: ** How accurate is SEOMoz keyword analysis tool and what other keyword analysis tools are you guys/gals using that you like? I have tried others but many provide duplicate insights.

I need a tool/tools to extract keywords from say 50 sites in one niche and then check the rank tor those sites
This is for telemarketing of seo services I want to have some insight into an industry before I call them could this be done with the adwords keyword tool api and then exported to excel. It would also be nice to have data on backlinks say from seo moz opensite explorer.. Its just that the research you do before you even call a potential client is so time consuming and you can never really check to see how they are ranking for there main keywords manually. We are trying to automate as much of this initial research as possible... Any Idea's Thanks

How do I get the SERP overlay tool to work?
I have the SEOMoz toolbar installed. In the settings I have a tick next to Display SERP Overlay. When I first activated this it showed up but with no data just continually searching for a long time. Now it is not showing up at all. This is such a great tool, how can I get it working? Thanks, Daniel.

What's with the new Q&A set up?
In the old Q&A set up your response was automatically given a thumbs up by you so that you got a mozpoint for every response you gave. Now you have to manually thumb up your responses. Why was this change made? Can we get it back to the way it was?
