GA not recording visitors PART 2

Further to my question yesterday where all data for Wednesday 31st July 2013 was not showing - the data did reappear yesterday afternoon.
But today, all data for yesterday seems odd - across all my projects visitor numbers appear to be around 40% down on the norm. Sales were normal, so I wonder if this is another glitch - anyone else seeing strange stats in GA for yesterday?

I am a moderator at Prestashop's forums and I can say that I saw a few posts about your same issue yesterday. I am thinking that Google is having an issue with some of the analytics accounts. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it persists til Monday.

That is weird. We had an issue with visitors to one site not being recorded in one profile (but being visible in realtime) yesterday. I thought this was down to a bad filter rule - I think I will check it again now.

Help me exclude our dynamic IP addresses from GA
Hi There, I can't believe we are the first SEO Web Development company with the issue of dynamic IP addresses, for technical reasons our ISP keeps changing our IP addresses to different random IP addresses (no patterns, ranges, or reasoning to the specific changes) and we obviously need to exclude our own visits to google analytics - but I can't seem to find any simple way to do this in Google Analytics - can you help me find a simple solution for this? Weird URL Structure in GA
Hey everyone, Thanks in advance for any insight on this. I've been researching it quite a bit on Google and haven't found anything yet. In Analytics, under our pages report, we're getting a lot of pages that look like this: www.execucar.com/https://www.execucar.com or www.execucar.com/https://www.execucar.com/locations/orlando-car-service Any thoughts on how to fix this? These pages don't exist...I'm at such a loss.

Newer iteration of Avinash Kaushik's Web 2.0
Greetings all! Does anyone know if there is a more recent, but comparable, book that covers the topic of analytics like Avinash Kaushik's Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountability and Science of Customer Centricity or Brian Clifton's Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics, 2nd Edition? These were published in 2009 & 2010. I know the core concepts remain the same, but the technology has improved greatly.

GA custom reports involving pages and goals - what are the metrics saying?
Hi, All! I would like to create a custom report that will enable me to see which of my pages are contributing to goal completion on my site (so I can then optimize the pages that are contributing the most, with maximal ROI for the optimization investment). If I make the dimension "page/page title" and the metric "goal X completions" - which would make sense - what exactly are the numbers that I am seeing telling me? Is it how many times a person started the goal funnel from that pages (meaning every goal would appear only once and there be no overlap)? That doesn't appear to be the case with the numbers, because the headline in the main "Goals" section tells me I have 30 goal completions for that goal, for example, but the headline in the custom report (which is adding up all the numbers) is, say, 100. Or does it mean the number of times that this page was ever in the navigation path of someone who ended up completing a goal? Then the same goal would be counted multiple times, for each page in the path. Additionally, I see this strange thing on some of my reports where the actual funnel pages appear as contributing towards goals, which I guess makes sense, but again the numbers don't match up. If the goal was to get to page B, and the funnel was A->B, and there were supposedly 30 goal completions, my custom report says that A gave 28 goal completions and B gave 25. Anyone know for sure - or through testing - what the case is with all these things? Any explanations will be much appreciated!
