Is there a way to add captions to images in the YouMoz Editor?
-
As the title says, I'm working on a YouMoz post and want to add captions to some of my images. Is this not possible? Since some are justified strangely, I can't just do it with the p tags they offer... I tried dropping a div styled in there and it broke everything, unsurprisingly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm excited to read it!
I do have some more info about the editor in http://moz.com/blog/inside-youmoz-how-to-guest-blog-for-moz if you hadn't seen that yet.

Thanks Keri! Yeah I did find some fun editing tools in there that definitely were helpful. I'll try the online editor as you suggested.
Excited to start contributing to YouMoz!

You might find it helpful to go over to http://www.free-online-html-editor.com/ and do your post, then copy the source code.
Also, click on the buttons in our editor. Many are actually drop-downs with options for headings, alignment, etc. even though they just look like buttons.

H1 tag Audit & Image Alt Tag Audit Tools
Hi Mozzers, Anyone know of a good FREE tool that has no limits to use to scrape my site for H1 tags & image alt tags by page? Ideally it would produce a report with a list of page URLs, corresponding H1 tags and each image alt tag on each page. Anyone? Bueller?

Changing the way SEOmoz Detects Duplicate Content
Hey everyone, I wanted to highlight today's blog post in case you missed it. In short, we're using a different algorithm to detect duplicate pages. http://moz.com/blog/visualizing-duplicate-web-pages If you see a change in your crawl results and you haven't done anything, this is probably why. Here's more information taken directly from the post: 1. Fewer duplicate page errors: a general decrease in the number of reported duplicate page errors. However, it bears pointing out that: **We may still miss some near-duplicates. **Like the current heuristic, only a subset of the near-duplicate pages is reported. **Completely identical pages will still be reported. **Two pages that are completely identical will have the same simhash value, and thus a difference of zero as measured by the simhash heuristic. So, all completely identical pages will still be reported. 2. Speed, speed, speed: The simhash heuristic detects duplicates and near-duplicates approximately 30 times faster than the legacy fingerprints code. This means that soon, no crawl will spend more than a day working its way through post-crawl processing, which will facilitate significantly faster delivery of results for large crawls.

What's the best way to switch a campaign from sub-domain tracking to root domain tracking?
I realized after the fact that one of my campaigns also has a mobile website sub-domain that I'd like to track (ex: http://m.website.com). How can I switch this campaign over to root domain tracking without deleting everything and starting over?

Would you be able to add functionality to rankings report?
It would be great if you could add annotations to the ranking graph so you could easily see when you had added site updates and the effect they had. I would also be grateful for a key on the graph so you didn't have to hover over the lines to see what's what.

Is there a way to select multiple pre-existing keywords and assign a category to all of them?
I added a number of keywords and want to go back and categorize them. What is the easiest way to do this? I couldn't find a way to put a check mark on each of them and "apply category" so how can I do this?

How to do large scale linkbuilding in a quick and safe way?
Since 2 / 3 years I have been doing work a client of mine. I have been building a good reputation and also a lot of top 10 / top 5 positions for mayor keywords. Starting about 4 to 12 weeks ago the positions have been dropped some due to (very) new competitors. My questionnaire is this: The client had everything better, also when I use the SEOmoz analyses. The only difference now is; the new competitors have made massive links in very short time, that making 2 things: more links than my client and also beating my clients positions. These domains exist since 3 to 9 months. What I am trying to figger out is; 1. How do they make 250.000 links in this time? (safe and so quick) 2. How does only this effect the SERPs so much? 3. If they continue this, Will they keep climbing up or get à penalty? Love to hear some advice. Thanks,
