How do you "Moz Crawl" a website? Newbie...
-
Hi everyone;
I've used Screaming Frog in the past and it's simple: you enter the URL to the box and click "start" and.. voila: as the button says, the crawling starts.
I've had the Pro version of Moz for a while now and haven't really 'done' anything with it. I'd like to crawl a website and thought it would be as easy as it's always been with Screaming Frog... but, for some reason, I can't find the 'way' to do it.
I find it really frustrating especially cause I feel like an idiot going around in circles thinking I'm missing something really obvious...
Until I realised the only solution was to ask here!
So... how in the world do you crawl a website using Moz tools? (Pro version)
Thanks!

Hi Patri!
OK, don't get frustrated too easily, it's really not that difficult but I could understand how it might look confusing to a newer client with the site redesign.
NOTE: MOZ doesn't work like Screaming Frog, with instant results upon crawling a domain, this you need to take into account first and understand. You need to setup a profile (campaign) for the website you want to crawl for data. With each PRO account, you get 5 campaigns to build and track while working on them.
First, sign into your account from the homepage
Second, click the MOZ logo and go to the site's main homepage. Look to the far RIGHT MARGIN at the TOP and click the button saying CAMPAIGNS & TOOLS. Once you are on this page, you will see a BUTTON in Blue titled SETUP A CAMPAIGN. Follow the steps to enter the URL, search engines to track, a few keywords to get you started and possibly the Google Analytics profile, to start gathering the information. This will create a CAMPAIGN for the site you are trying to crawl. It will start automatically and email you when the report is ready to be viewed. It's not automatic and might take some time, depending on how big the site is to get your crawl and data report.
You can access all the Products MOZ offers at this URL: http://moz.com/products and from here, click on the old disk (looks like an old 8" floppy disk), titled TOOLS and DATA. In this section, you can get to all the various tools we use as SEO's to analyze and get work done
Hope this helps! Cheers

Multiple campaigns for one website with multiple services?
Hi. Brand new to Moz Pro today. Question about whether to set up multiple campaigns for one website that promotes multiple services. I own a law firm and we have one main location, one website, 5 attorneys, and about 8-10 practice areas we promote. Each practice area has its own page and related content in the form of guides and blogs. Website is southernmarylandlaw.com. I only have this one website to track and promote, so I initially thought I only have one campaign. But I do want to track these separate practice areas separately. Each will have separate competitors, for instance. Each will need a separate set of keywords. People tend to search for a particular type of attorney, not just for the generic "lawyers." Should I use my 10 campaigns to set up a different campaign for each practice area we promote? Am I doing something wrong by tracking my one website 10 different times in my account? If I do not do this, then how do I possibly track the various practice areas and their separate keywords and competitors? Thanks for all your help and suggestions!

Moz for charities and non-profits
Hi, I noticed an earlier thread on this topic that now seems dead so I decided to start a new one: https://moz.com/community/q/non-profit-rates We're a non-profit organisation based outside of the US and we were wondering if MOZ's non-profit program can be extended out? We're fully registered and audited in our home country and can provide all the necessary documentary proof if needed.

Not able to access Moz pro page and my campaigns
Hi, I could not able to access my campaign pages (pro home page). I received the below issue while logged into my account. This webpage has a redirect loop The webpage at http://moz.com/pro/home has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. Learn more about this problem. Error code: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS I have checked on both firefox, chrome browsers after cleared the history and cookies. Also checked with different ISP providers. But received the same. Has anyone experienced the same? Plz help.

How does MOZ assign a keyword to a page in the On Page Grades by Keyword Ranking
I'm in the beta analytics tool. In the On Page Optimization > On Page Grades by Keyword section, there is a Keyword column with a keyword assigned to each URL on my site. http://analytics.moz.com/search/on-page/572409.326269 How is the keyword that is shown here decieed upon? Is it simply based on a guess of the "best keyword" for each page based on kwp density and other factors? Can I map a new keyword to each page? or at least to my top ten most important pages? I see I can check the grade for any keyword on any page here: http://analytics.moz.com/search/manage-page-grades/572409.326269. I want to map my top ten pages to ten keywords - can I save these changes in the system so I don't have to manually check a keyword/url match each time? Shaun

Moz Analytics Beta Question
I've been invited to the Moz Analytics Beta; however, I am not seeing any data for any of my campaigns. Do I have to do something specific to enable the beta, or does it take a while for information to appear?
