How do I properly sitemap a site with static pages + Wordpress in it's own directory?

I apologize for the awkward wording in the headline.
No to the issue, I have a site with static pages that are created as follows: url.com, url.com/page1, url.com/page2, etc. I then have WordPress install at url.com/blog. What is the proper method for creating a comprehensive sitemap for my entire domain. I like the sitemap feature provided by Yoast SEO plugin but I assume it will only index the wordpress directory (url.com/blog).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Dan, I had a feeling this may be an option, good to know that others are doing the same. I am a bit new to the world of SEO and wasn't sure what kind of effect would come from multiple sitemaps. Much appreciated!

Hi There
You could generate one for the whole site, but this will be a pain because you'll have to update it very often. What I would recommend is;
- Let Yoast generate one for the blog area. This will sit under site.com/blog/sitemap_index.xml
- Create one for the static part of the site - you can use a sitemap generator (google search). Just don't include the blog in it.
Then you can submit each separate to Webmaster Tools. This way Yoast will update the blgo sitemap automatically, you'll just have to update the static one on your own.

Content Writing - it should be for the main corporate site, blog or for social media?
Hi There, I have my main site : example.com and a related blog https://blog.example.com/ My management does not believe frequent content posting on the example.com My Queries 1- Will it help boost ranking of **example.com **if we share frequent content on our blog https://blog.example.com/? How much impact it has? 2- Every body says content is the king, Ok fine, but when you are not allowed to share it on the main corporate site, then where to share it? Breaking a Big Website into Multiple Unrelated Sites
I have a big cluttered website that I want to simplify. There is content for patients, researchers, therapists who are looking for grants, etc.. Would it be a bad ideas to turn these into 3 or more, completely different sites with each focused on their specific demographic? Or should I just figure out how to organize the one site better? How many pages is too many to add to a site at one time?
I have quite a bit of excellent content articles at my disposal and we would like to increase the number of pages on our site. I could, theoretically add 100's of pages at a time. Does anyone have a good sense of how much content added to a sight in mass looks bad to Google? My plan is to add approximately 50 pages a week to our site, which already has 4000 pages of content. This is relevant content, since we are a custom writing service and all topics are covered. Our content is what gives us great organic hits and orders. However, I would like to add more than 50 a week...how many is too many? Thanks and I appreciate thoughts and feedback! Karen

Should I Have No Index, No Follow On Blog Category & Tag Pages?
At some point in the past I read or was told that No Index, No Follow tags on category and tag pages were a good thing on a standard WordPress blog in order to prevent duplicate content issues. Is this still true or was it ever true?
