How do you moderate facebook comments?
-
I added facebook comments to many pages on my site. Does anyone know how you can moderate (or even see) what comments have been left?
If I go to facebook.com/insights for my website it tells me that I have had 15 comments this month. But, if I go to "popular pages" it shows me 1 page. If I click on that page I can see that one comment. But where are the other 14?
I really like the idea that when people leave a facebook comment on my page it goes on their friends' news streams and then my site gets more exposure. But, if I can't moderate my comments that would not be good!

Hey,
Have you tried adding the moderator meta tag to the page with the comments box?

It works the same way.
In the upper right corner you should see "Adminstrate Comments". Are you logged into the same facebook account used for your site? Are you an admin for the facebook app? As long as the answer to both questions is yes, you will be able to moderate the comments.

Thanks, but I'm talking about the new facebook comments that you can add to your website. I'm trying to find out who left comments on my site.

Hi Dunamis.
I understand your confusion. Facebook cleverly hides the icon for deleting comments.
To delete a comment you must be logged into Facebook and on your site's page. Go to your WALL, find the comment you wish to delete, then move your mouse to the upper right corner of the comment. The area will appear blank until you hover your mouse in the corner. Then a snowflake like icon will appear.
Clicking that icon will offer you the option of removing the comment, hiding the comment, and banning the user from your page.

Facebook Likes not counted
So many of my clients are (very) small businesses and have added a like button to their website home pages that actually has the person liking their Facebook page rather than the website. Without debating the pros and cons of this approach, it would seem that Facebook has changed it so that if someone clicks a like button that is for a page they have not actually visited the like does not show up in the like count for that page? Is that correct?

Facebook - one page or two for local insurance agency with 2 locations?
We have 2 offices within 20 miles of each other, and we are getting ready to launch a facebook page (or pages)... I'm not sure whether we should put up one page or two. One office is our 'corporate office', and the other a 'satellite' office, both are very much open for business, but there will never be a need to post something on one and not the other...the two locations are just too close for there to be a need for that. If something is relevant to one town, it is relevant to the other. I am really leaning toward one page for both offices for many reasons, but it seems like facebook wants me to have 2 pages (ie. I can't put in more than one address). Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Facebook interactions report on SEOMoz - help!
Our Fan Interactions report for the last 7 days is showing 10475 more interactions than the previous week. These didn't happen on our page and if we'd been tagged wouldn't it show up on our page? We had the usual number of Likes and Comments last week, nothing unusual there and 3 mentions, none of which triggered this level of activity. Can anyone shed any light? If we did get tagged, why wouldn't we know about it? Thanks Cecily

Linking Facebook - Twitter - Website - G+ Profiles
During a spectacular presentation at Seattle Interactive Conference, Rand discussed how Google is able to see linkage between different social networks and a Google profile. Outside of setting up your Twitter feed to send loads of messages to your Facebook fans (or vice versa), is there a best way to communicate the "linkage" between your social media profiles to the search engines? Eg - How do you best signal to Google that your Twitter, Facebook, G+ and your website are from the same entity?

Google plus, Twitter and Facebook link - does it help?
Hello, I was wondering, does it help if I publish a link to a new page on my website on my Facebook-, Google + and Twitter-Account - even if noone reposts it? Thanks Polyniki

Facebook Comments | Massive Overall Increase in Rankings! Anybody else experience this?
Last week I implemented Facebook Comments and Addthis to my site. Rankings went up for nearly all my keywords. I have people from Africa, Europe and USA asking questions. Every time someone comments, it is shared on their Facebook Wall. I want to know if anybody has experienced this besides me? Here's my site if you want to see it in action.

Roundup of Facebook Share & Facebook Like. Which one is better for SEO?
There doesn't seem to be clear cut advice / data on whether Facebook Share or Facebook Like is more valuable from an SEO standpoint. So I'm asking you SEOmoz fans have you come across conclusive evidence or have your own sites / testes proven that one is stronger than the other.

Is facebook and twitter always a good idea to promote a website and improve Google rankings?
I'm attempting to promote a fresh seafood market / restaurant here on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I have not found a lot of examples of people using Twitter and Facebook to promote this type of business here. Is it hard to justify the time for return here? One benefit I thought for twitter is we could have tweets displayed on site giving us some dynamic content which would hopefully keep Google spider coming back more regularly is this correct? Is there any link building advantage to using these social media sites?
