Is there a problem with New Campaign crawls being slow?
-
Hi
I've created 3 new campaigns but results not showing as usual. I know the full results take up to 7 days but I usually see some basic info in a few minutes of creating the campaign.
This problem happened a while ago and the campaign was never quite right in SEOMoz.
Thanks for your help

The campaigns came in a day or so after your response.
Thanks

Hi guys,
Thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that your crawls are acting weird. Currently this is an issue that our devs are aware of and will be taking time to do a full round of investigations.
In the meantime, I would definitely leave those campaigns alone as we will be doing some work to see if we can get the crawls to resolve. If you have questions, please contact us at help@moz.com. That way we can get a better idea of your crawl to find out if this is a systems issue or a site issue.
Thank you all for your patience, we will work hard to fix this ASAP.
Best,
Peter

Hi there
I have the same problem, so its not just you.
I contacted the support yesterday and got a letter today, that they are looking into it. I don't know if everybody has this problem or not, and lets hope it will be fixed asap. which I am sure it will be.
I started my campaign a few days back and all I got so far it the ranking for the keywords. No pages have been crawled so far .. as far as I know that is.
Hope you will get your data soon and the best of luck in the future

Why is on-demand crawl reporting numbers that are very different than the regualr site crawl by Moz?
When I look at the site crawl available through my dashboard, it reports 22.9K pages crawled. I just ran a on-demand crawl and it is only reporting 6K pages crawled. Why is the number so much lower?

New Spam Analysis Tool Results Questions
First off, I am incredibly excited about this tool. Secondly, I have a slew of questions, but the ones that are lingering for me are as follows. There are a few URLS that we used to control which are showing up in our list as spammy. The websites no longer exist as of roughly a week ago and I presume they still show up simply because of the last indexing. That being said, if a website doesn't exist anymore, yet the link is showing up in our GWMT or MOZ, is it still necessary to disavow? Is that overkill? http://alcoholdrugrehablosangeles.com/ is an example of a website we used to control and I have removed. My second lingering question is if there are a handful of links that are registering as spammy, and I presume it is due to lack of content/duplicate content, and I move that content to its appropriate place on another website and 301 that domain to its new home, will the "spam score" carry over?

Suggestion for Improving the Crawl Report on Canonicals
This came up in the answer to a question I gave here http://moz.com/community/q/canonicals-in-crawling-reports#reply_222623 Wanted to post here to put it in as a suggestion on how to improve the Moz Crawl reports Currently, the report shows FALSE if there is no canonical link on a page and TRUE if there is. IF you get a TRUE response, this shows up as a warning in your report. I currently use Canonical to Self on almost all my pages to help with some indexing issues. I currently use the EXACT function in excel to create a formula to see if my canonical link matches the URL of the page (as this is what I want it to do). I can then know that the canonical is implemented properly, or if I need to manually check pages to make sure the canonical that points to another page is correct. I would like to suggest that the Moz crawl tool does this. It can show FALSE is the canonical is missing, TRUE if the canonical is present and SELF if the canonical points to the URL of the page it is on. I think for the most part this would be much more actionable information. I would even suggest that TRUE would need to be more of a high priority alert, and SELF can't do any damage, so I would leave that info in the CSV but not have that as a warning in the web interface. Thanks for listening!

Why do the crawl diagnostics indicate duplicate page content among blog postings hosted by WordPress?
Does anyone know why the crawl diagnostics indicate duplicate page content regarding the blog we are hosting on WordPress? And does anyone know how to fix this issue? The content is not, or does not appear to be duplicate.

New website launched 3 weeks ago but not sure what Moz Analysis is telling me?
Hi 3 weeks ago I re-branded and completely changed the proposition on www.over50choices.co.uk as the URL is appropriate to the proposition. And whilst it looks good I am unsure what the Moz Tools are telling me, other than it doesnt look good? There should be about 163 pages, but Moz reports over 500 due to i think so many 301's? Plus most pages under the HTTP Status reports No Data! Most of the the 404's are from the old site. Webmaster Tools say 163 pages submitted but only 2 indexed, but on site:search it says about 117 but 40+ of these are the old site. It looks a mess...! Sleepless nights have started - any thoughts!? Thanks Ash

Ranking report in Pro Campaign Not Accurate?
I have been running ranking reports on my pro seomoz account for a couple of years now. I recently added a lot more keywords to my list. Unfortunately there now seems to be a problem. It shows that many of my keywords have dropped out of (and climbed in) the top 50 when they actually haven't. I think it's just missing the keyword out and assuming that it dropped. I'd prefer it said "Not checked". Anyone else with a similar problem? or ideally a solution at my end... Thanks all!
