Since August 11th We have been dropping 5 to 10% in Organic Search Traffic ?
We are now producing as more quality content/ blogs/YouTube videos Facebook and Google plus posts, then ever before. We taking a look at our pages, author tags, paying more attention to titles and meta descriptions.
we are not acting Spammy in any way, or at least not that we can see.But for some reason, Google analytics Stats are just going down week after week, our website is www.safari365.com
Can anyone help us see what we are doing wrong ?

Having a look at your backlink profile, you lost alot of links around that time, but not referring domains. I wonder if you deleted a sitewide backlink somehow. These can give boosts of rankings for a few weeks, but will most likely give you a penalty at some point.
You have quite a few other sitewide backlinks, but they are not that bad (33-40 links each) except pcdynamiceng.com which has 162 according to ahrefs..
I have see alot worse though, so cannot say if this is your problem.
Another thing is the time of year... at the end of the summer people may not look for as many holidays etc. Have you got metrics going back to last year to compare?. This may not be relevant, but new sites get a nice boost for the first month or so as Google tries to ascertain whether they are popular \ useful etc. It could be that this boost has simply faded away (I notice the site has copyright 2013).
All I would recommend at this time, is focus on good quality content and spread that around on your social channels etc. I would also review all sitewide backlinks, and try to replace those with relevant homepage backlink or editorial backlink.

Without assessing your site I can say you may not be doing anything wrong.
During Google's recent rolling algo changes we saw a drop in traffic of about 20% during the similar time frame you suggest.
We've recovered about 15% of that lost traffic and continue in the direction of the traffic levels prior to those changes.
We're white hat in what we do and this recent algo update is the only time we've actually lost significant traffic.
I usually don't over-react to Google's pendulum swings as things typically return to normal.

Facebook experts, I need help: is this 'strategy' idea legit or nonsense?
Hi guys, I have a friend who works in a large university where each faculty has their own Facebook page. The pages are rarely maintained and experience very poor levels of engagement. The university's main Facebook page has a very large following (195,000+ likes), but again, the engagement is very poor - on average each post gets about 20 likes, 2 comments and 1-2 shares if that. Now, my friend works in one of the faculties and doesn't happen to have a Facebook page (his particular faculty is concentrating their efforts on other areas of inbound marketing). However, the social media manager for the university is insisting my friend’s faculty create a page and contribute to a wider ‘campaign’ being undertaken at the uni - however my friend is not convinced (and neither am I) that the logic behind this campaign makes sense. Here's how the campaign has been described: 1. The main university page (with 195k likes) posts a generic image ('whats happening this week at the uni'), which asks people to ‘look in the comments’ to see what's happening among all the different faculties 2. The faculty pages all at once submit comments on the post about 'what's happening' in their area 3. The faculty pages 'like' the main image post, share it, and like the other comments left by faculties The social media manager says this campaign approach will ensure the main post gets into the feed of the 195k followers (and more) and increase the reach of the other faculties’ pages because of the high level of 'engagement' and 'aggregation' on the post. My friend and I feel this idea is flawed for a number of reasons: 1. Routinely it’s the same people and faculties engaging with the post - so the vast majority of the 195k won't be reached virally anyway 2. The 195k have demonstrated they aren't engaged, due to the poor prior performance of the page – it’s unlikely the posts even make it to their feeds organically 3. The image is generic (it is literally a picture of a building which says 'what’s on this week') and doesn’t entice people to take an action - you can't see the comments as they're collapsed in the feed, so unless users actually are compelled by the image to click into the comments the post is useless 4. The message isn't targeted - a number of random faculties provide comments to the post, so it's very possible what's offered by the faculties isn't relevant to the wider audience. Anyway, I'd really hope someone with a deep understanding of Facebook could help provide some clarity on this campaign proposal. It seems like a flawed methodology which advocates manufacturing engagement and an ineffective use of time and resource. Many thanks

3 month intern plan, thoughts/opinions appreciated
Just looking for some opinions here. I'll be hiring a summer intern to help with marketing, spreading the word, and link building. Just wanted to get some feedback on what I'm thinking of having them do. 1. Run back link checks on all competitor websites and ask the owner/webmaster if they'd consider linking to us. 2. Directory submit to any relative directories that pass link juice. 3. Find relevant websites or forums and ask for links, run broken link checker while on their site as well. Maybe offer their audience some sort of freebee or special product/e-book. 4. Create hang outs on Google +, groups on Linkedin.com, Quora etc. Follow relevant Twitter followers and post content regularly. Trying to think of a few other things as well. Looking forward to your opinions. Thanks.

Pay with a Tweet (or other social payments) in the Freemium world
Hi Mozer(s), I work for a company which provides cloud-based collaboration environments for companies. Like many companies in this field, we offer a Free package, which gives users enough capabilities to explore our tool under business-alike circumstances. However, we currently dont have a time limit for our free version - which, makes us (I think) quite unique from a competitive standpoint. But consequently, it also means a lot of users see no immediate need to upgrade to a business package. If maintaining this business model, we are considering various options in how to generate more awareness. The company is quite new and can generally only get better results of SEO and social media advancement. One alternative is to start charging for signup to the Free package, using Social payments scheme, i.e. get access to the collaboration tools for free if liking, tweeting, plusing us, using a pre-defined message, hashtag, etc, using a hybrid approach, allowing users to edit some/all of the message. It may have an impact on number of sign ups, but are there other potential negative effects? I have seen some comments, both positive and negative, about its SEO impact, mostly positive, not least from this [Youmoz post](How To: Win Tweets and Influence Search Engines with PayWithaTweet).- though unlikely to have a direct SEO effect, it can increase sharing, exposure and SERP presence. But any flip sides social payment users should be aware of? Thanks in advance.

Face Book..your thoughts on promoting on main web site
Moz Community, I would like Facebook promotion opinions. I have a local business (Seattle painting contractor) and have built a fan page which engages our clients, local & national suppliers, friends and other contractors. Our original intent was to use the fan page to promote our main website; we never added a prominent "like us" button on our main page, we did not want to convert for facebook when our best content was on our site. I have been pleasantly surprised this past year how many fans we have accumulated by promotion and by accident. The main benefit has been rewarding engagement from other industry marketers such as Benjamin Moore paint company, and introductions to local design professionals..and these conversations once started continue by direct communication (email..phone). I have just added a facebook link on my blog..see attached picture Join our 2500+ fans. Primarily because the visitors to the blog tend to be the sort that engage on Facebook vs the type that want a painting contractor (Google analytics traffic data and click through behavior). I now have more traffic to the blog than the front end site. What do you think of the button? What else should be promoting? Come Learn more, see what we are about, enage, share, & learn facebook_button.png
