Link in Disqus profile

Hey guys, could you help me with the following issue.
When I leave a comment via Disqus, it adds my url as plain text to the code of the page I left my comment on. At the same time, a backlink to my site is in my Disqus profile (once you click on the user name in your comment) So, my question is if Google will consider such a backlink as a legit link to my site and if it makes general sense for SEO to leave Disqus comments?

Can you give an example where it adds your URL as plain text to the code of the page?
I don't think leaving Disqus comments will harm, or benefit, your site SEO wise. I would feel free to comment as you would naturally, while not trying to comment unnecessarily for SEO benefits.

Should I disavow these links?
Hi all, I have a site that is a year old, we have been building backlinks organically - probably around 50 or so - then almost overnight we had100s of spammy links. the search result show the domain of its own. what is is? and is it meaningful as a link?

Paying for a Link
I realize it is bad to pay for a link but is it bad to pay for a link on a page that ranks you 1 to 10 againist your competitor, shows a screen shot of your and lists Pros and Cons of your site? Is this sort of paid link different somehow?

Which link should I use for link building?
I have an article which have high rank on Google. But recent, I use mod rewrite url so this article have new url. old: mywebsite.com/c1/p-1 new: mywebsite.com/c-e/p-1 Now, google is indexing old url. Reciprocal links
Hi SEOmoz Pros, We have vendors from whom I was hoping to get links. To make it more enticing to them I was planning to select a small number of vendors (with good site metrics-PA, DA, PR) and create a "Featured Vendor" module on some pages that would link back to the vendor's site as well--thereby created reciprocal links. I was planning to only have one vendor to a page and only for the pages that we are targeting locally. My hope is to help boost the ranking of those pages. Is it okay to offer our vendors to link back to their site or should I ask for a one-way link back to our page and pitch it as exposure for their brand?? Lastly, does Google penalize for these types of links? Thanks!
