What is the fastest way to re-index an important page?
-
Hello Moz Community Members,
Besides submitting the URL in Google Webmaster, what are other ways to make sure google indexes/crawls a page which was noindexed?
-
- Agree Google+ works pretty fast (Bonus points if it gets shared)
- Have a high profile website share it
- Twitter still works pretty well, (Bonus points if it gets shared)
- Be sure it's in your xml sitemap, resubmit the sitemap to Google
- Install Google Analytics
- Bookmark it on Delicious
- If it's a blogpost, register your blog with feedburner
-
I agree. Anecdotally anyway, sharing on G+ in particular makes for a pretty rapid index.
-
Share it on Google+ and twitter this the quickest way I find to get stuffed indexed.
-
Link to it from the homepage well above the fold.

Indexing Issues
One of the main pages on my site, http://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos, I have been having a hard time getting google to index it correctly or at all. It is one of the top pages on my site and should be in my sub links in google, but it is not even showing up in searches. Any input would be appreciated. The only red flap issue is the number of outgoing links, but that is the way the page is supposed to be. I would assume most real estate listing pages are very similar. Ultimately when you look at traffic, time on page, inbound links, etc. it is one of the top pages on my site in all those categories. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Meta Titles On Site Different From Google Index Page
This is very embarrassing but I hope someone can help. The Meta Titles on my site are not being shown correctly on the Google site index. For example, when I got directly to the page the appropriate page title is shown obviously. However when I go view that page on Google, the title in completely different. Page title: Web Design, SEO, PPC, Mobile Development In Philadelphia, Bucks| Infinity Digital Agency Google Shows: Our Services - Infinity Digital Agency Here is the result page. I am currently running WordPress and Yoast. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.infinitydigitalagency.com%2Fservices%2F&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

On Page Optimisation Reports
Firstly sorry if this has already been answered - I did look I promise.
On-Page Optimization | | Jock
Secondly sorry if the answer to this is blatently obvious! In the process of trying to optimise my landing pages, I am using On Page Optimisation reports. I have several (ok lots) with F grades which is not surprising as the landing page is not the landing page optimised for a certain keyword. If I change the landing page to the one that I have for a certain keyword then hey presto A or B grade (clever me)! Now here's the thing - presumably the landing page that is listed by default is the one that Google "sees" for a particular keyword. How do I change this if I can or do I have to be patient or am I just being plain daft?! Many thanks0 -

Page titles and descriptions
A website has several wigets to show Each wiget with its own page The wigets mostly just vary in size How would you suggest titles be done? Example: Wiget 1ft Wiget 2ft Wiget 3 ft an so on........ Would this trigger a duplicate content issue given “Wiget” leads in the page title?
