My Website Just Got Penalized

I had a website that recently got penalized. The pagerank dropped to zero on the homepage and moved to page 200 on google. I checked manual actions on my site in web mastertools and it says that no webspam is found. I am curious to find out why my website would drop. I had a a network of 5 blogs that I was linking to the site that also lost page rank but theres is N/A now. I am thinking thats where the trouble started because i did not use no follow.
Question 1
My question is if I remove all the links to the other site or make them no follow will the penalty lift. I am thinking that the penalty is an automated on and not a manual one. Does any one have experience with automated penalties? Did they lift after you fixed the issues. Did you regain most of your original rankings?
Question 2
What happens to all my blogs. I spent all lot of money on have posts written for it. Can any of the content be salvaged. I have over 1000 pages written on 5 different blogs.
I can send you a list of the urls so you can see what I am talking about.

There was an update today and it was pretty ugly. If your drop was in the last 24-48 hours, that might have been the culprit.
Did you use C-class IPs on the blogs? Or were they hosted on different hosts? Did you interlink the blogs?
Theres some silly rankings going on, sites with 1 backlink ranking for 25k monthly searched keyword.

Like Ash said, it's probably an algorithmic ranking penalty. Especially if you do not have anything in the Manual Actions section of Webmaster Tools. Just fixing the problems will solve the ranking issues, but it will take a wile. A lot of people have experience with these kind of issues, and they regained back the rankings. Don't worry, it can be done
Just read on Moz or other SEO resources about concrete examples if you need some facts. -
If it's a penalty caused only by the linking practices then you should not worry about the content. But be careful, because we see a lot of penalties caused by the actual content. If you paid for the content, chances are even higher. If I were you I would check:

if there are other linking issues besides inter-blog link

if content is really unique and has high quality.
And start fixing the problems.

Your articles are a major suspect and links another - Panda and Penguin. Yes, algorithmic ranking drops rather than a manual penalty.

Help finding website content scraping
Hi, I need a tool to help me review sites that are plagiarising / directly copying content from my site. But tools that I'm aware, such as Copyscape, appear to work with individual URLs and not a root domain. That's great if you have a particular post or page you want to check. But in this case, some sites are scraping 1000s of product pages. So I need to submit the root domain rather than an individual URL. In some cases, other sites are being listed in SERPs above or even instead of our site for product search terms. But so far I have stumbled across this, rather than proactively researched offending sites. So I want to insert my root domain & then for the tool to review all my internal site pages before providing information on other domains where an individual page has a certain amount of duplicated copy. Working in the same way as Moz crawls the site for internal duplicate pages - I need a list of duplicate content by domain & URL, externally that I can then contact the offending sites to request they remove the content and send to Google as evidence, if they don't. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Terry

Duplicate content site not penalized
Was reviewing a site, www.adspecialtyproductscatalog.com, and noted that even though there are over 50,000 total issues found by automated crawls, including 3000 pages with duplicate titles and 6,000 with duplicate content this site still ranks high for primary keywords. The same essay's worth of content is pasted at the bottom of every single page. What gives, Google?

Multiple E-commerce website
Following is a scenario where we plan to have a single database and different sites pulling product information from this. There will be a primary site with all the products listed and then there will be other category based website with the same products. All transactions will happen on respective website. The common factor will be products and its information. Our question is should we have different item numbers for the same product listed on two websites or they can be the same.?

I was penalized by Google? What do you think i have to do?

Pages mirrored on unknown websites (not just content, all the HTML)... blackhat I've never seen before.
Someone more expert than me could help... I am not a pro, just doing research on a website... Google Search Console shows many backlinks in pages under unknown domains... this pages are mirroring the pages of the linked website... clicking on a link on the mirror page leads to a spam page with link spam... The homepage of these unknown domain appear just fine... looks like that the domain is partially hijacked... WTF?! Have you ever seen something likes this? Can it be an outcome of a previous blackhat activity?

How do you change the 6 links under your website in Google?
Hello everyone, I have no idea how to ask this question, so I'm going to give it a shot and hopefully someone can help me!! My company is called Eteach, so when you type in Eteach into Google, we come in the top position (phew!) but there are 6 links that appear underneath it (I've added a picture to show what I mean). How do you change these links?? I don't even know what to call them, so if there is a particular name for these then please let me know! Backlinks from foreign language websites?
I have faced an interesting situation about linkbuilding strategy. Currently I am doing SEO for one of my clients located in United Arab Emirates, so accordingly he has a website in English language. And keywords are in English. So what do you think, can the links placed on Russian language websites pass some link juice (make a positive impact on rankings) and in which language (Russian or English) should be the text surrounding the keyword? Dentist office website has foreign country backlinks. Scrap it or Move On
Another SEO person who was working my potential dental customer website managed to hookup over 147 backlinks to various bogus weather sites, watch sites, chinese sites etc. The dentist owns the URL which is "dentist" plus his zipcode. Is it worth continuing SEO on this site or should I scrap the URL? I am worried that Google may take action on this site sometime in the future and all the work I will do will be lost. He does have another website, because SEO's keeps trying to sell dentists microsites... This site isn't too bad but he doesn't own the URL but the url is a combination of the two doctors names and isn't easy to remember... and we would have to spend time trying to gain control of the URL. Suggestions?
