Open Site Explorer Social Stats Limited to 25 Results?
-
Hi Mozzers,
I've exported a few open site explorer queries and was surprised to find that only 25 results returned social stats even for some really large websites. Is that a limitation in the search or a bug? I want to filter everything by twitter shares, so having a complete set of data for that stat is super important.
Thanks!
Tony

Hey Tony,
I updated you via email, but I am posting the response here for your reference, as well.
Unfortunately, it does look like the this is a limitation of the tool and we are unable to export the full social data at this time. Our engineers are investigating if we will be able to edit this limitation in the future, but this would mean a major coding change, so we aren't certain if this is will be possible. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this causes and I thank you for your patience while we review this process.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance in the meantime.

Hey Tony,
I'm sorry that your reports are looking off. I'm not familiar with such a limitation for the social data in the OSE reports, so I am actually going to have to look into this further with our engineering department. Since I have to send them information regarding the reports you've run, I am going to create an email in our Help support system. You should receive an email from me shortly and I will follow up with you there when I have any further information.

Unsolved Issue with former site redirect
Hello, After 2 months of starting a new service with a new domain name and a rather flat curve, I decided to invest in auditing tools. To my surprise, when analyzing links with 'Link Explorer', I got the following warning : "You entered the URL crapahute.com which redirects to www.krapahute.com. Click here to analyze www.krapahute.com instead."... So I understand I bought a domain name that was previously in use, 8 years ago. And logically, when they moved from crapahute.com to krapahute.com, the former site owners set a (probably 401) redirect between their former name and their new one. Probably that in the last 8 years they dropped crapahute.com since I was able to buy the domain name last year. I can't understand the warning I'm receiving. since I thought this redirect would become inactive when they dropped the domain name. On the contrary, if I analyze the backlinks to krapahute.com I can indeed see : crapahute.com [no anchor text] 3 2 0 --

2016-09-05 - N/A - www.krapahute.com So my question is : where is this warning coming from ? I performed some nslookup and dig on my domain and their's just to find out that every thing seems to look normal. Meanwhile, if I type "crapahute" in Google (and most other search engines), my site arrives in 12th page (!), and if I type "crapahute.com", the site "krapahute.com" appears first. Thank you for those reading up to that point ! Any hint on what could cause this ? Should I change of domain name ? Thank you !0 -
Unsolved Google results linking domains
When I check the linking domains of a root domain, a lot of Google results from other countries appear. Does this mean all of these domains are linking to my root domain? Can anybody explain this and tell me if this can be seen as spam or not? linking-domain-moz.png

Can I use the keyword explorer to find negative keywords? We focus on a few things in our business that we focus on but the feedback that I get from the tool is not helpful
All in all, this business focuses in a very small area, and there are things that others in our business do that we do not.Yes,a guy that knows nothing about SEO... This is a junk removal business, and some of the competition do everything. This is a small outfit that only hauls junk.Much of the competition that we have sells junk bins,we do not.We just haul junk..we do not paint,or any of the things that they do. I just keep getting things sent to me me in my list here about bin sales etc,and it is making impossible to search for keywords without a way to manage what is coming in some way..Google let me do this, but I am just hoping to use this tool entirely if I am going to pay for it.Maybe I am lost being new,and confused. How can I use this tool? Are there any settings,or anything that you can teach a non SEO minded guy like me? Thanks

Why does the number of the total external links and the followed linking root domains between Open site explorer and the campaign in Moz pro doesn't match?
Opensiteexplorer returns 52.473 total external links and 715 followed linking root domains while my campaign in Moz analytics return 35.899 total external links and 1092 followed linking root domains. Does anyone knows how this is possible?
