Why does OSE & Moz Q&A sections not work for me in Chrome any more?
-
A few weeks ago I started seeing instances of OSE not showing all the information when it was showing I was logged in while using Google Chrome. It would work, then not work and kept showing me the button to sign up for Moz Analytics even though I was logged in. I'm a Pro Member, which is confusing. Then I noticed that while logged in, I would be logged out somehow when trying to contribute to the Q&A's and it would bounce me back to the Moz Home page or show me the white Login button in the upper right. Again, in Chrome only.
I was told by support to clean my cookies/cache and that works for maybe a few hours, but then would resort back to logging me out. It has become very annoying, and now can only work logged in from FireFox. Not a huge issue, but everything else I do all day is in Chrome.
Is anyone else having this same issues? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. - Patrick

I'm really sorry you have to deal with all this. Please let me know how that goes!

Hi Aaron,
I'm using only a couple Chrome extensions: SEOquake, Mozbar, Wappalyzer and Awesome Screenshot only. Deleting the cookies did help, but only for a couple hours. Per security/antivirus, I use Microsoft Security Essentials as the full time scanner and Malwarebytes for the "as needed" deep scanner. What is weird is that I've been using all of the above for a very long time, so it's not a change in the tools. I think it is local as well, but just trying to whittle it down to the cause.
I may dump Chrome completely and reupload a fresh copy and see if that does the job. Thank you for your input. - Patrick

Thanks for that tip. I was also using the old bookmark to SEOmoz, so I deleted it and bookmarked Moz. However, that did not do the trick for me. But, at least I have the correct bookmark now

That does sound really annoying. I know that clearing cookies does help most users, but there might be something else going on with Chrome. What types of extensions are you using in Chrome? Do you have any security or antivirus software installed on the workstation? If you have another computer that you use OSE in, do you have the same problem on there? I suspect it's local to the computer but it's hard to tell with these types of issues.

I dont know if this makes a difference but the same thing was happening with me and i realized that i was using an old bookmark (seomoz) to get it. I kept clearing the cookies, drove me nuts and then I deleted the bookmark and everything is fine now. (and i use only chrome).

I've been having the same issues and it's getting to be pretty frustrating!

Moz tool to estimate a website's organic traffic?
Moz has tons of great tools, so I was quite suprised there is nothing similar to Alexa's siteinfo tool, or SimilarWeb's site comparison tool. Am I missing something? Or does such a tool exists at Moz? Or is there a different way of estimating my competitor's traffic? It would be great if Moz would have something like that.

Moz Pro: Linking RDs to Page much lower than Google Search Console
I'm trying to use the Analyze Keyword tool in Moz Pro, and in the SERP Analysis table, my page has a PA of one, and zero root domains linking to it. If I look at the page in Google Search console, it says I have 229 root domains linking to the page from well known domains like github.com, meetup.com, stackoverflow.com, etc. This particular keyword has been tracked in Moz for the last 6 months, but I just noticed that it was extremely low. I am relatively new to Moz, so forgive me if I sound confused, but can someone explain to me how the numbers can be so low?

Is OSE having problems?
The healthpage says it is operational but I'm getting a ton of 'There was an error getting your data' messages. First I thought, it just happens to smaller pages, since testing it with moz.com worked. But even pages like nbc.com give me this error. I tried logging out an in again and even swithcing browsers - without success. Anyone else having problems like this right now? Cheers, Chris

Moz's Spam Score - WWW v Non-WWW
Given that going with a www or non-www TLD is a coin-toss in Google's eyes, I'm curious as to how this relates to Moz's spam score (if at all)? Specifically, we've got a client who has several sites across a number of industry verticals, and for some of them, the www and the non-www versions of their websites are both in play (sigh). Obviously we'll sort that out shortly, but my question is why, when we put both TLDs into Open Site Explorer does the www and the non-www version of the sites get different spam scores? With some of their sites (www v non-www) the difference in the spam score might be a 2 for the www v a 3 for the non-www. But in others it might be 0 for the www v 8 for the non-www! And it's unclear which one is the 'real' spam score, as there seems no rhyme or reason to the results. Anyway, any thoughts from the room would be appreciated.

Am I using OSE wrong?
Hi - new to all this! A link on a competitor site is showing as 404 when I check it with OSE but nothing on the page seems to be broken. It's got loads of links to it, so I'm trying to work out what's going on. I just filtered the results by '40?'. Thanks

When is OSE updated?
Hey there, It clearly stands that OSE will be updated, well yesterday... on 21th April. In my experience, they usually update the date if they have technical issues or something... ...but now they haven't yet made any changes.

Why Moz doesn't offer tool similar like SEOprofiler Link Disinfection?
Hi Moz, As I have been your member & using pro tool for more than an year, it's been amazing experience working and using your each tool's function tool, wehther to check on-page grader, rank tracking, on-page crawling issue, keyword difficulty and the one my best for link analysis is Open Site Explorer etc. I came here to ask about something which I didn't find here than other providers is most popular Bad Link Detection Tool. As **SEOprofiler Link Disinfection **offers their customers to use this to get all of their bad or spammy links harming them to rank high or getting away from ranking goal. Let me know, are you planning anything similar to this to bring soon in your tools and provide your members to take benefits of such type function as well OR should i go to SEOprofiler for this? Best,
