Feedback & Advice on Blog Post
-
Hello Everyone, it's me again...
After receiving feedback from many of you, we decided to add new and informative content to some of our more important blog posts. While the industry we're in isn't the most interesting and fun to talk about, we have always been told to just write high quality, helpful and useful content and people will find it and link naturally to it. We also believed that this would help improve the rankings of some of the inner pages on our site.
So now we've spent numerous weeks updating specific posts, and still nobody links to it and still no significant rankings increase.
I'd appreciate it if you would take a look at this particular post: http://goo.gl/8q4XQk and provide any kind of feedback or advice that you may have.
Thanks...

Those are two of the best responses i've ever received on this forum.
Thank you both for the advice, we'll get to work!

Building links and authority organically can be, unfortunately, a long and frustrating journey - especially in boring niches. When I pull up your blog posts, I don't see them as blog posts (much like Peter above) but rather as promotional material disguised as a blog post.
The problem you are facing is one that I've seen time and time again. Online businesses in boring markets with little to no audience are really hard to get off the ground. You have to be extremely **creative. **
When you are writing your next blog post, I would suggest browsing through Pinterest to see what popular items come up for "storage bins" or something similar. There are probably a bunch of "life hacks" and instructographics that you can gain inspiration from to write a blog post. Then share the heck out of it - share it on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, you name it.
I know you are facing a frustrating challenge, but if your task was easy, then people such as myself would be out of work

Hi, my thoughts on this page is that for me I don't read it as a blog post as it's promotional and not really informational.
You are right to look to write high quality, helpful and useful content. To do that you need to ask what questions would potential customers in your target market being asking.
You are right when you say in the page you linked to "Storage challenges are common to everyone from businesses to consumers.", so consider what hints and tips and good information can you give to help people with those storage challenges.
You cannot just say buy our storage bins, but you could post something like "101 Cool Ways to use a Dividable Grid Container" or maybe share helpful information on the best way to store important documents and the advantages of using a proper container than a cardboard box.
I hope that helps,
Peter

Starting Blog
Right now my page speed is above my competitors but I'm concern about the effect blog pluggins could have on my speed page. What would be a good plugin to start doing this without affecting too much to my speed page rank? My site: https://dentistaslaspalmasgc.es/

How new website / blogs can earn backlinks?
Hi, As link wheels, link pyramids and paid links are penalized by google and the only chance to get back links is to earn them. My Question is that with a new website / blog, how a newbie with no relationships with established bloggers, can earn links? Because writing quality contents and detailed posts (e.g. more than 3000 words posts twice a month) still would benefits for those blogs having already traffic to share these contents and in case of new blog, due to very low traffic, it would take months or years to enter in the game. Please propose step by step strategy / plan / footprint for newly born website and marketers. Thanks
