Moz doesn’t show the right facebook likes.

Hi moz help,

I found out that in opensiteexplorer.org our Facebook likes counts zero, while my facebook account actually counts more than 600 likes. How is this possible? Did I not couple my facebook account correctly to my website? The address is http://www.onlinefietsonderdelenkopen.nl and the Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/onlinefietsonderdelenkopen

According to my experience, it also doesn't add the likes from bitly or other URL shorteners.

The number of Facebook likes returned by OpenSiteExplorer is the number of times the URL you entered into OSE was liked on Facebook posts, not the number of Facebook likes for the Facebook Page tied to the domain.

So in short, this number is accurate.

Actually the information is right, you have connected the Facebook Page in the right way to your site via the widget etc. But these likes don't count for the specific pages. So your FB Page has ±600 likes but the specific homepage you've checked in OpenSiteExplorer is providing data for webpages and that is 0.
