Getting free search engine traffic and monetize it with google adsense
-
Hello moz comunity,
I have a couple of websites with 10-30 articles on each, 700+ words, images and so on.Which steps I need to take in order to see a faster free search engine traffic? All of these articles I optimized with seopressor and all in one seo pack.I want to know how much time and money I need to put in the traffic process for each site.I mean, how much it takes to see 500 visitors/day in my analytics for each website. I want to monetize that traffic with Google Adsense and amazon links+skimliks.Thank you !

Hi Papp,
What you are asking is the million dollar question... there's no right answer. To get traffic you need basically 2 things:
A great Website. And excellent content (whatever the niche is, it could also be the "best products" if you were selling something, or the "best service").
The real question here is: do your websites have what they need to rank in the SERPs? I'm quite sure, that 10 - 30 "seo'ed" articles are not even near enough unless those articles that you published are something really extraordinary that you can't find anywhere else, say a medical research for example.
My advice? Take one of the sites first, and try to do something amazing. If you are able to monetize that first one with AdSense, then you would have learned what is needed to do it with the other sites.

Disavow Google Links
Hi Guys, one question from my side: When I disavow domains in the Google link disavow tool, do I have to disavow every subdomain of a main domain.....for example; I want to disavow the following (sub)domains safsad.mydomain.com hapdasd.mydomain.com skdkada.mydomain.com Do I have to disavow every subdomain solely or does it suffice if I disavow "mydomain.com" and when done also every subdomain of this main domain is disavowed too? Thank you in advance. BG

Should You Get Link back from Customers
In the SEO guide on Moz, it states as one of the link building strategies: Get your customers to link to you If you have partners you work with regularly, or loyal customers that love your brand, you can capitalize on this by sending out partnership badges—graphic icons that link back to your site (like Google often does with their AdWords certification program). Just as you'd get customers wearing your t-shirts or sporting your bumper stickers, links are the best way to accomplish the same feat on the web. We design websites for churches and non-profits, and put a link back to our site as the designer. We recently have been told this is spammy and not a good idea. However, from what MOZ says, it sounds like they are promoting you do this. Please comment. Thanks.

Best Blog Post Length to get Links
Okay, kind of silly question but i am looking for some help interpreting an analysis done by John Doherty almost a year ago: http://moz.com/blog/what-kind-of-content-gets-links-in-2012 In the document he mentions the correlation that longer posts on average receive more links but the graphs were really hard to interpret (for me). Based on the data what is the correct size we should shoot for (most graphs were missing labels). Any one have any insight? Should i shoot for 300 words per post, higher, etc? Thanks! Kyle

Linking to Adsense heavy sites?
Hi SEOmoz community! Hopefully a pretty straight forward question here... Does anyone know if linking to "Adsense heavy" websites can have a negative impact on your rankings? Or a positive impact even? Thes sites in particular are owned by a business aquintance, so they come from a trusted source even though the sites themselves look quite "spammy". Also they all have pagerank of 1 or 2 and there's about 100 of the sites that we would link to. Does anyone have any thoughts? Regards, Ash 🙂

What is the length for Open Explorer and/or Google to pick up on Blogroll links?
I'm just a little curious about this and thought I would make use of the new Q&A system. This is my first open question. I recently acquired some blogroll links on 3 fairly popular and well trafficked sites, some with more authority and pages than mine (Get Right Music). I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the time frame in which I should start to see that affect my rankings in Google. Also, the time frame when I should start to see those domain links appear in Open Site Explorer. I'm just curious. Thanks everyone. Jesse
