Problem setting up new view in Analytics
-
Hi,
I'm having problems finding where to set up a new view in Analytics. I have seen https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1009714?hl=en but get lost at point 3 (In the View column, click the menu, then click Create new view.)
In the menu there is no option that I can see.
If I go into the one view that is set up, I also can't see anything 'View Settings' that would allow me to copy the view and then modify it.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Thanks.
I was being silly and logging in using wrong account details so it turned out that I didn't have admin right.
I was sure I had used the admin details though hence not being able to find the button.

If you want to copy a view there is a text link in the bottom right of 'View setting' called 'Copy View'it is next to Delete View. If you can't see that you might not have the correct permissions or you might have to scroll.
Let me know if you find it.

Google Analytics global page empty
Hello, I don't know what happened with my Google Analytics initial page. For around a week I have there all my websites, but they show no results on global page. If I enter on any property I can see everything as normal, just not on the initial page. Screenshot: http://imgur.com/JKFVIh4 For sure I changed anything that I shouldn't. Perhaps you know what's wrong? Thank you in advance.

Two lots of Analytics - one not Universal
Hi, We have been using two lots of GA code on our website - one was the old code and we added the new GA code under a different property too. Now that the old code is redundant do I: update the old code on property 1 to the Universal version and keep running the two properties (not sure this is the one I should do) remove the old code from property 1 and don't replace it with Universal version (but what happens to historical data?) remove the new code in property 2 and update the old code to the latest Universal version (but what happens to the historical data in property 2 or doesn't it matter?) The current code on the site is: <noscript><p>Please enable javascript</p></noscript> <noscript><p>Please enable javascript</p></noscript> <noscript><p>Please enable javascript</p></noscript> <noscript><div>Please enable JavaScript for your browser.</div></noscript> I've clearly got a bit confused so help would be appreciated. Thanks

Some goal conversion in Google analytics showing under referral
Yesterday I have created Google analytics account for a new website but few goal conversions comes from payment gateway site (paypal.com, epdq.co.uk) and showing under referral. How to fix this issue so I can know the real source of Goal conversion. *Note - utm_nooverride=1 on thank you page applied, payment gateway URL is already placed in Referral Exclusion List. So please don't suggest either of them. Thanks

Google Analytics-Unique visitors?
Does organic search data show unique visitors or all visits? For example, if someone ( a single person) visits my site multiple times after searching the same keyword phrase, does that show in my analytics data as 1 hit from that keyword, or all hits? Thanks!

Switching Google Analytics from Urchin to GA
I want to finally make the switch from Urchin to GA in Analytics, but the Google support page is no longer working (I realize I'm late to this so they likely took it down/moved it to where I can't find it). I've been searching on Google but can't find a straightforward guide to changing that won't disrupt my data. Anyone have a link to a working guide, or can you provide some guidance?

AW Stats vs Google Analytics
Hey Moz Community, I am looking to get opinions on the best practice for analytics/traffic analysis. From experience I know that AW Stats reads high and Google Analytics reads low for traffic for reason in this article http://www.smartz.com/blog/2009/01/23/analytic-confusion-%E2%80%93-awstats-vs-google-analytics/ It drives me a little nuts how far off both are for some pages. I have one article that shows 100 views (GA) and AW stats shows 5 times that number of views. Any suggestions or systems you recommend? Thanks
