What keywords will this page possibly rank for ... tool?
-
Hi all,
I'm looking for a tool that will look at a web page that you submit to it and tell you what keywords it thinks the page is targetted towards and thus hopefully rank for. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Hopefully this type of tool will help us understand why page A is being ranked for keyword X when page B is actually the page that should be being ranked for that keyword.
The only tool I have really found so far is http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html
I dont want to tell the tool what keywords I am looking at, as with Moz On page grader.
Background reason (and possibly some one maybe able to shed some light on this also). We list a group of products... Nextbase Click 9 Lite, Nextbase Click 9 Lite Duo and Nextbase Click 9 Lite Duo Deluxe. All 3 are similar but very different products and each has its own page on our site. For the keyphrase "Nextbase click 9 lite" currently in Google we are listed for the pages containing the "Nextbase Click 9 Lite Duo" and "Nextbase Click 9 Lite Duo Deluxe"... but not the actual specific product page that targets the "Nextbase Click 9 Lite" product. Thus my reason for wanting to try such a tool that may help me understand why this is.
Thanks for any hints, tips or pointers.

Hey Jason,
First I would try Moz's SERP analysis tool. Run a report on the page that is ranking, then add the URL of the page that is not ranking, and compare the metrics between the two. Be sure to run a full report.
Oftentimes in these cases, it's not on-page optimization that makes the difference, but backlinks, anchor-text, and site architecture that influence a keyword position in search results.
So things I would look for in comparing these pages:
- What are the backlinks (diversity of sites, types of links, etc)
- Page Authority of each page
- Anchor text of all incoming links to each page
Also, on the other end of the scale you may want to see if any of your pages are actually over-optimized. Too much exact match anchor text? Keyword stuffing?
Regardless, hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. Not worried about posting the URLs on here:
Nextbase Click 7 Lite here: http://www.3wisemonkeys.co.uk/dvd/portable-dvd-player-car/nextbase-click-7-lite/
Nextbase Click 7 Lite duo: http://www.3wisemonkeys.co.uk/dvd/portable-dvd-player-car/nextbase-click-7-lite-duo/
Nextbase click 7 lite duo deluxe here: http://www.3wisemonkeys.co.uk/dvd/portable-dvd-player-car/nextbase-click-7-lite-duo-deluxe/
Any comments appreciated.

I understand your question.
However I'm curious if your pages are that much cluttered that you need a tool for this.
Could you maybe private message me the url so I can take a look at this?
Of course, I will not share the url.

Backlink From Different Language Sites Will Spoil My Ranking?
Hi there! Excited to joining this community. The main question is that if I get backlinks from different language sites then that backlink will be worthy or non-worthy in the eye of search engine? I know if I target international market by presenting my content in different languages then of course it will be worthwhile for me. But what will be happened if I do not represent content in different languages on my site but get the backlines from other language sites such as: Chinese, Russian or any other? Also I have seen many sites which are getting backlinks from different language sites and they are just getting high authority. Is there any expert?

Tools to see how many times a domain has been bought and sold? Domain Owner History?
Hi Folks! I'm in the process of trying to buy a domain off someone who isn't really using it for much other than a single anding page for his defunct company. The current ower is putting a massively high price on the domain (five figures) which is WAY more than what any regular buyer would value it at. He claims he paid that price several years ago when he bought it. I don't believe him, and I feel he's just using that as an excuse to value his domain very highly. Does anyone know of any tools I could use to help me see how many times the domain has changed owners? I have a sneaking suspicion that he is the original owner, but I have no way to tell. It currently has privacy on it so I can't tell much by looking at whois.sc or using my subscription to whorush.com. Any one have any other ideas for me?

Index Page Dropped From Rankings
On average my site was getting ranked 3rd for "Tucson DUI Lawyer", Best Tucson DUI Lawyer, Tucson DUI attorney and etc. Recently my website fell for all of these keywords and I thought it is the best time to launch the new website. The problem is that my internal pages show up for some of the keywords on the third or fourth page but my index page doesn't show for any of them. Does it have anything to do with the site structure ? I have a lot of news excerpts on the homepage with links to the main posts. Here is the link: http://www.michaelharwinlaw.com/ Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Why did one of our keyword score an F but is first place on Google search? The key word is "Barista Classes Los Angeles"
We're working with an SEO company that provides monthly details on what keywords have improved and needs work. One of our keyowords (Barista Classes Los Angeles) climbed up to number one on Google's search box. However, on SEO Moz, the same keyword got an "F" under the On-Page category. Can someone help us out and define why this is happening? This way, we can adjust and see how we can improve. Thanks!

WP Permalinks, categories, and organic ranking impact
Hello. this is my first post here, so I hope it to be a question with an easy answer... I am working on a site that has an established domain, but has recently suffered significant ranking decline. one of the problems I have found involves over-use of categories and tags - making the actual content 3 to 4 clicks deep within any given post URL. My question involves the restructuring of category / tag use for improved page content and SEO organic rank impact. Here is an example: domain.com/blue-shoes/blue-shoes-tampa I want to target this specific post and optimize for "blue shoes tampa". I have used the Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast to help achieve balanced optimization on the on-page post content itself, but now am struggling with the best approach for the URL... also, the site has about 80 (62 posts and 18 pages) total items with similar issues, , so I am hoping that any answer / opinion offered here might also be applicable to the rest of the site. thanks in advance for your time & comments.

What free app/tool do you wish existed?
Is there something you find yourself needing to do, but there is no tool to help you do it? A task you do all the time you're sure could be done easier with a nice app? I'd love to hear about it! If we like your idea, we'll create it and make it 100% free (for linkbait, of course!).
