-
I have a new url, and I'm trying to create a new campaign for it.
But in first step when i enter the domain, an error message pops up saying the url is invalid. could you help?

Hi Alice
You may need to check with your hosting provider to see if they might be blocking us for the springcoin domain.
Make sure the following IP range is not blocked: 208.184.81.0-24

Hi David,
I think that wildcard is correct, because we want to disallow all pdf files.
This is the same robots file as our other domain, avantcredit.com, and I was able to set up that campaign successfully on Moz.
Is there anything else that could be causing the issue?
-
Hi Alice
There is an issue with your robots.txt which has a wildcard directive without a / before it
Disallow: *.pdf$
Missing / at start of file or folder nameThis might be preventing us from accessing the site.

Hi Alice!
Generally the invalid URL will indicate an issue with either DNS or inability to obtain an HTTP response from the web server. Check you robots.txt file for any user-agent blocks and you can use various header response tools to see if you return any errors:
www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php
If you have a 302 re-direct you will need to change it to be a 301. If you receive a 200 OK response, let us know what the URL is so we can run other tests.

Perhaps you could provide us with the url? It's difficult to help you without it

Change email address just for communication with Moz
I want to keep my email address as it is now for all of my profiles, however to manage my MOZ account I prefer that my assistant get the emails. If I change my email address on the Moz account will that trigger a change anywhere else? Thanks, Cindy Cindy@PTScoaching.com

Moz Company & Personal Account Conflict
Hey Moz - I just had a question regarding the Moz Pro Account. Sometimes I find myself torn between using my personal Moz account, and the Moz Pro Account associated with my company (and my team). Is there a way to link a personal account WITH a company pro account, so I could post as myself, build my own cred, but still enjoy the benefits of Pro on my company's dime? Thanks!

Can I create different login accounts to access different campaigns?
For various reasons, I'd like to create different login accounts for Moz for different campaigns, so staff can only access the campaigns that they're given permissions to. Is this possible?

Moz Netiquette
It's now happened three times in three days: I get unsolicited email (apparently harvested from my Moz profile) that invites me to try a new product or contribute to a new site. The senders are completely unknown to me. The emails are full of hype, sketchy on details and poorly written. They have all the hallmarks of phishing scams. But on further inquiry the emails seem to be legit. I nonetheless feel entitled to confess my extreme exasperation. When did sending unsolicited mass email of the "Dear Colleague" variety to perfect strangers become acceptable business practice? It's always struck me as being beyond the pale and beneath contempt. Why would anyone try to launch a business which such dubious and unsavoury tactics? Am I missing something here? Or becoming a fuddy duddy? I suppose I could remove my contact info from my MOZ profile, but I have found it useful in the past. What surprises me is that people would contact me "out of the blue" to ask for free help without making the slightest attempt to cultivate a relationship first. Am I wrong?
