How do I identify NEW linking root domains?

Under moz analytics there are metrics for Linking Root Domains. It shows an increase of n%. Is there any easy way of identify which domains are new domains for any given period?

You can use OSE (opensiteexplorer) or Majestic SEO to see any recent sites that have linked to your site.

Site with 2 domains - 1 domain SEO opimised & 1 is not. How best to handle crawlers?

Situation: I have a dual domain site:
Domain 1 - www.domain.com is SEO optimised with product pages and should of course be indexed.
Domain 2 - secure.domain.com is not SEO optimised and simply has checkout and payment gateway pages. I've discovered that Moz automatically crawls Domain 2 - the secure.domain.com site and consequently picks up hundreds of errors.
I have put an end to this by adding a robots.txt to stop rogerbot and dotbot (mozs crawlers) from crawling domain 2. This fixes my errors in Moz reports however after doing more research into 'Crawler Control' I figure this might be the best option. My Question: Instead of using robots.txt to stop moz from crawing all of Domain 2 should I use on each page of domain 2? I believe this would then allow moz and google to crawl Domain 2 but also tell them both not to index it.
My understanding is that this would be best, and might even help my overall SEO by telling google not to give any SEO value to the Domain 2 pages?

Mozbar - No Link Results Populating

I am new to using the Mozbar and maybe I have missed a setting someplace, but in search results under the individual results only the page links are showing - no referring domains, no links or referring domains for the site. I have reinstalled the extension, oh...about ...5 times or so hoping that would solve the problem, but still getting the same results. Any suggestions or how to get all 4 results to display? How Do I Scan My New Site & Grade My Work With The Robots Turned Off? For Pre-Inspection before I launch my Site?

I have a new site that has all the bots turned off so google can't index my site until I'm finished it. I've been working on this site for a couple months now optimizing and I was wondering if there was anyway I can run a preliminary scan on the site for my titles, URLs, Headers, Alt Tags and pretty much anything else that will grade my work and tell me if i did anything wrong? Can MOZ do this with the Bots turned off? Thanks

How do I download a CSV of inbound links?

Just signed up and have a lot of (probably stupid) questions! When I go to my campaign in Moz Pro, Links, Link Analysis, I see a long list of inbound links. However, the only option is to export it into CSV via the Open Site Explorer, but when I open that up the list of links is completely different (and much smaller) than the one in the Link Analysis section. Is there a way to download the links listed in the Link Analysis section, and what is hhe different between the links listed here and in the OSE?

Domain added to the url

Hi, I am having a problem with my Wordpress site http://www.food-and-garden. It seems the domain www.food-and-garden.com is added to the url, for example http://www.food-and-garden.com/recipe-items/blini-lumpfish-roe/www.food-and-garden.com Right now I have 249 404 errors. That's a lot! I found a Q&A similar to this, and as far as I understand, it has to do with relative links. I quess somewhere on my site there is href="www.food-and-garden.com" instead of href="http://www.food-and-garden.com" My question is, how do I find the broken link? Thank you!

I am very confused as to the practical implementation of these 2 terms PA and DA. I have a website and i want to rank a particular page. So to rank it at the top, should i have more backlinks of page** or **more backlinks of my Homepage. Does more back links of a particular page improves only PA or (PA & DA) both ?

New to using MOZ. Familiar with Google Analytics. With MOZ is there a code snippet to include on my site?

Just taken over web marketing responsibilities at my company. Will be doing some major website upgrades soon. I'm not familiar with MOZ and don't want to overwrite anything. So when setting up MOZ, is there a code snippet that goes anyplace on the site like there is with Google analytics? Thanks.

New to MOZ and working with Web Mentions. Can I use operators?

Our name is HostDime but often put as Host Dime (2 words) by news sources and other sites. How do I set up my brand mention so I only get a notice when both words appear, in order, together. I don't want "That host is a dime" and such. Can I use a +Host +Dime?"Host Dime"? Do these operators work in MOZ?
